Ravin R29x Crossbow Specs
The new R29X, complete with our new fully-integrated Silent Cocking System, hits a new pinnacle of speed at an incredible 450 FPS. The length remains 29 inches, and when fully drawn, the R29X is 6 inches axle-axle and weighs a light 6.75 pounds. Including an ergonomic grip, this crossbow is easy to maneuver in tight spaces and gives hunters and shooters great control without sacrificing comfort. New Ravin Crossbows are covered under a five-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship to the stock, trigger and cocking mechanism, and limb assembly when used normally in accordance with Ravin’s published instructions and guidelines. Our liability extends to parts, labor, and return transportation to the customer and is non-transferable. This limited warranty does not cover strings, cables, scopes, arrows, transportation of product to our service center, damage caused by abuse, dry firing, using arrows other than the Ravin-branded arrows recommended for your crossbow, failure to follow safety advice and usage instructions in the manual, modification or failure to perform normal maintenance, or any other expenses or damage to property or person. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

Your info is really helpful. Just bought one yesterday from local store and forgot to ask how to decock.
Oops it looks so dangerous @3:30 while the crossbow is cocked. I never put my fingers in between the two axles and they are no go left and right.
When you fired it. It was loud.
How do you get your String to Release from the Carriage
I just picked up a new R29x. The Ravin video to sight in says to set up the 20 yard sight. Mine starts at 30 yards. I'm a bit confused
Ravin came out with a newer scope that starts at 30 yards last year. The drop from 20 yards to 30 yards at that speed is minimal, so they designed a scope to help eliminate some of the clutter when aiming.
