- So I just have a lot of feels about Dick.
I made a Robin Shattered video a while back (then took it down due to anxiety), and decided after Performance I would make a better, more improved version and upload that. I then had a few hours to spend while visiting a college, so I decided to work on this.
So here it is, and watch in HD. Like, siriusly. It looks 10x better.

In season 2, everything fell apart... I don't mean the story or characters, that was great. I mean the team began to fall apart... There was chaos and betrayal. It was awesome.
Yeah the end of this video (when dick is like I don't want to be THE batman anymore) is for shadowing how dick changed and became nightwing and of course everything fell apart including my heart
I might just have to rewatch it but I don’t want the depression of S2 again 😢
This was the lesson bruce was trying to teach all his sidekick he wanted them to understand how important the mantle of batman is but to not be dependent on it like bruce is.

Sometimes we try to hide who we are and at some point we get shattered and hurt but we HAVE to get back up and try again. We are who we are not someone we want to be. We don't have to be that person anymore.

i love this show and it's interpretation of these young heroes. It reminds me of the Teen Titans (NOT Teen Titans Go) in that it focuses on there emotions and how they relate to each other...how they relate to their new found family. the last bit of this AMV made me want to cry because the clip used had the characters speaking softly and it just went with the music...just beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This video is amazing and the music fits so well. The episode Performance already made me sad, and when I saw this with the clip of Dick's parents falling and the dialogue it made me cry. Putting Dicks words in writing at the end was a nice touch too.

Damn Pop Haly's words right after the lyrics "take me home to my heart" just broke my heart. This whole video was beautiful it was really skillfully made, especially with the chosen voice overs. I really love Dick, he's always handed the short end of the stick in life and yet he's still a great person and happy (for the most part) despite his dark story. I really fell in love with his character, with all of his incarnations in DC (I also really hate the New 52 for screwing him over so badly)

It had reminded her of when I told her why I didn't want to be like my father anymore. Not after he'd torn our family apart and after the divorce. Yes, I'm still joining the army like he joined the marines. But I'm not Daddy's little girl anymore. This video makes me feel important. :3 thanks for uploading it's amazing

His dad was still alive when he became Robin (I forget if his mom was). When his father was murdered Bruce decided to adopt Tim, making him Tim Drake Wayne. He didn't steal. Jason was the crook.

This made me cry. Robin is batman in youth. Batman on the inside doesn't want to be himself. He struggles to keep his good side from being a psychopath(Joker his example of what he would've been, if not for his parents love), Hates his sacrifices, harvey dent, Jason=red hood, some of the people he lost or could've been with (dianna, catwoman, talia al goul) if he wasn't batman. But without batman or robin, vigilanteism would have not been known nor encouraged. And people
