STORY
Dick Grayson loses his family as a child and is adopted by Bruce Wayne. He later goes on to become the first Robin and fight crime with Batman and Batgirl with dreams of becoming his own superhero someday.
Some years later Dick joins the Young Justice league and meets Kid Flash (Wally West). The two immediately hit it off and Dick slowly develops feelings that he keeps hidden. Those feelings of course are not reciprocated seeing that Wally has feelings for Artemis. Before Dick has the chance to tell Wally how he feels, Wally is killed and Dick is in the same place as he was before.

Not really. He was the first Robin so at the beginning he just had Bruce who can be pretty distant and Alfred, yeah as time went on the Batfam grew but Dick came from a circus that was considered a massive family in it's own right.
Stephanie Hardy I think they meant in general. His family keeps growing, from the Bat family to the Titans, to even the Justice League.

Also, Batman in a way never grew up, as he was still the little boy in the alleyway who watched his parents die.
Batman/Bruce Wayne is kind of like Peter pan he takes in kids and him taking them to be Bats/Birds. They chase villains like Peter Pan and the lost boys chase captain Hook.

The fact that this song fits Richard very well and that he has kinda grown from that horrible event. It's really sad that he had to experience his parents death and can manage a smile. He is a great superhero and is my favorite because he is so very strong, and he probably dies inside everyday because of that incident but he can smile and laugh even though he lost his parents.

Not really. For all that Dick is the heart of the Batfam, he's an outsider in the sense that he's most different from everyone. He's always there for them, none of them is rarely there for him. Dick works as per his own values and he fights for family, above all. On paper, Jason seems like a lost boy but he always chooses his path. Even when fate might show him differently, Jason chooses to indulge his hurts. The conflict is always manufactured by himself. As a boy who lost his loving family, Dick is always seeking another one - in Bruce, in Teen Titans, in Titans, in Bludhaven, in the Batfam... Truly a lost boy...

Bailey Chase umm actually in season one robin is dick Grayson as evidenced by the episode where Wally calls him by his full name. He then becomes nightwing in season two. Tim Drake appears as robin in season two :/ might wanna do a little rewatch before season 3 :)
