Every single time I have every gotten the brakes done on any vehicle I have had, the brakes would squeal. I did my brakes for the first time ever two days ago and have driven 400 miles so far with no squeaks whatsoever.
I'm about to change front brake pads tomorrow, diy, saving nearly $200! Watched dozens of videos, and already have a repair manual and tools. Have confidence in yourself, gather all the information you can absorb, don't be afraid to ask questions, make sure you have the right tools and parts, and say a little prayer. You can do it.
Why is the car is still on? BTW, i think I have the same issue and the sound only comes out when on the straight and running to 80km/h and if it is windy. lol
Just went to the store and noticed a tire noise. It ended up being a large walnut between the rotor and the caliper. I took it out with a screwdriver and now my brakes feel like I'm pressing air. I was able to get home, checked the brake fluid and it was either low or empty. Filled it to the max, drove it up & down the driveway & now I have a brake fluid leak. ugggghhh! I should have just driven with the walnut.

Should of just removed the caliper and rotor and do some cleaning and re lubing things like slider pins etc etc while ur already there to maintain.
