A trip to Zermatt is not complete if you don’t visit the panoramic Gornergrat! The Gornergrat is accessible from Zermatt by a cogwheel train ride lasting about 35 minutes going up at a little over 3000 meters altitude.
At the top of Gornergrat viewpoint, an amazing 360 degree panoramic view opens up in front of you. And the stunning Gorner Glacier is one of them. With a length of about 12.9 kms, it is the third longest glacier in the Alps.

@@MsSundis Weather wise, Mid-September is a great time to visit Switzerland. However, if you head up to higher elevations, expect some cold temperature. So please make sure you pack warmer layers and jackets. It will be so much fun, I can’t wait to go back! Good luck!
