There are a number of ways to do it. Best is probably to use a desoldering tool and solder wick. You can also just melt the solder and pull each side out, but you have to be very careful that the solder is completely melted until it is out, because you can pull up the trace.

I believe that I just melted the solder with my regular iron and pulled the ends out on this video, but in general a dedicated tool used right is the better way to go. I would caution you against soldering on PCB’s unless you have a decent amount of experience soldering electronics, as it is easy to mess up and create a bigger problem.
