Sorry bout the weather guys , British summer is a lottery .
+Rob Buglass comes with the territory I guess!
You guys totally 'get' all the Britishisms. The different types of cream, the best fish and chips etc. Makes your videos really good!
+Dust Blog thanks!
The Minack theatre is just stunning. I've performed there many times, although a week of climbing up and down the steps to the stage do take it's toll on the knees. It's called Minack Leg!
I spent many summers at Lands End when I was your age or a little younger. This has given me the desire to get back there before I check-out.
The Lake district video was beautiful. Thank you.
Thank God for people like you! You really dispel the 'ignorant Americans' myth. There seems to be a particular myth that Americans come here to the UK and don't get farther than London. (and unfortunately some videos show this). Thank you for showing our lovely places outside the capital. I look forward to your coming to Birmingham, which all the Birminghams in the USA were named after.
To be fair, how many Brits travel to unusual places in the USA? Most travel to Florida, New York or Vegas. I also have to say that nearly every American I have ever met, either here in the UK, in the USA or in other countries have been far from ignorant.
So true.... I’ve just come from watching a US couple visiting London, they showed two places... McDonald’s and the m&m store🙄🙈 This is refreshing, not all Americans are stupid!
@@notreyf When I went to America I went to Utah and Colorado and stayed on a ranch
highly recommend
Sounds amazing, way better than the usual Florida fly drive :)
Amazing that that lady created that whole area and did all of that beautiful carving in the concrete. What an amazing legacy!
You got the typical British weather experience then :)
Its a shame, but somewhat representative of the norm :-)
Typical Britain really. Always pissing it down.
yes the weather is crap it is pissing down in london and cold. However the dudes need to put way more cream on the scones and the cream should be cold almost chilled.
yeah england is beautiful but are weather is utter pants even in summer
Ya, we weren't quite prepared for how damp and chilly it'd be, but were making do! Plus, the rain makes everything prettier :)
Tintagel Castle is an absolute must!!!!!
Yea I wanted them to walk from the castle to polzeath but its probably too far and not sponsored for them
Hi you guys! I am British and would like to say... you have given me back my appetite for English food!...Have been really into European food of late, but now, I am back home! Thank you! I am a chef by the way!
What an absolutely stunning location!

Seeing you at Porthgwarra brought back so many cool memories - really good that you are spending so much time off the beaten track too - hats off to you for truly being adventurous!
Great video, really enthusiastic about and respectful of the local culture. Looks like you had fun too.
To any one who does NOT know what the Y H A is, The Y H A is the Youth Hostel Association, an organisation that has thousands of VERY CHEAP or in some cases FREE accommodation, in various locations around the UK, not too sure if you folks have an equivalent organisation Stateside.
I'm new to your channel and I've been watching non-stop. So wonderful in particular to see you say such lovely things about my home region! Devon and Cornwall are such wonderful parts of the UK
You guys should definitely go to Hayle beach if you can. Grab a Philps pasty and go for a walk along the stretch of white sand.
Charlotte b yessssss
I love the view shots really beautifull
These films are so nice and friendly ... a pleasure to follow such pleasant people. Great to see you all having a happy time over here .
If you get the chance, you can buy clotted cream ice cream in the supermarket and its so tasty :) its in a cream and blue coloured tub!
Clotted cream fudge is also delicious. Anything with clotted cream in it really!
Your videos are really good and entertaining. I know you've left the UK now, but I'm glad (and very jealous) you got to experience so much of my country. You're a credit to yours. 👍👍
This was the first T.E.A. video I watched starting just a few months ago. Eric & Allison, you've been a joy during the pandemic. I haven't done any traveling for over a year and it's agony. With you two I can vicariously travel the world. Thx.
P.S. - love the food vlogs 👍
The views are wonderful! The Minack Theater was amazing...thank you. Oh my goodness the Cream Tea looked delicious. The view from beside the cafe was wonderful and that is the first red phone box I have seen you show I think.
Seriously, you guys must have had a fab time. Just so great to see you have a fab time and embrace our culture. Thank you...
I love all your energy folks. Great video.
Great videos.Always nice to see things you know, through new eyes.
5.30 "I have a feeling it's not going to make much of a difference" *The whole of the UK shaking our heads...*
Such a great video! As always 🙂. One thing I will never understand is how does Alison always stays so fit while enjoying such amazing food. Also, I'm enjoying seeing your partnership with different youtubers.
Beautiful imagery! Thank you!
you guys are not too lucky with the weather, its bonkers this year. Cannot remember it ever rained so bad during the summer LOL and wow the food looks amazing, all the veggies mmm :D
Awesome Vlog guys, Cornwall looks really awesome so fare can`t wait to see more. Enjoy your time guys keep on traveling.
I love your videos and never miss one, keep up the good work Lindy from South Africa
I love how you edited the writing in the beginning, really great. Also, coolest place to sleep ever!
Shame you were not in the uk a month ago, the weather was stunning
Great vlog,Cornwall looks amazing,so green.Love your cozy digs!
Thank you! The landscape is amazing down here! Hopefully you get the chance to visit if you haven't already 💚
Whoah! Very cool. We spent a month in Devon but never made it over to Cornwall. Love the theater, so many places in the area that I would love to go back and visit but I didn't know about the theater. Thanks for sharing. We're total fans of Cream Teas too! -Henry
I miss Cornwall so much, my grandparents have a house near the yurt and I used to wake up to that view every day. ❤️❤️❤️😂
You guys have made me want to visit Cornwall again.
The music was perfect for my cardio workout while I watched this! 😁
7mins ... awesome , got the red phone box & an epic view in background
im really enjoying watching your videos! :-) I randomly saw one and have just left it playing all of them, its nice to see some of my own country. lol
That place you were staying at the beginning is round the corner from my parents holiday home. I
The Minack theatre is awsome eh ! Apart from videos I have only seen it from the seaward side. I grew up on the Devon side of the border but worked for a Cornish company, I made some very good Cornish friends. Keep the adventure going !
Hello. Totally new to your videos and am loving them. They are so positive and enthusiastic. Thankyou . From a generally grumpy old git. xx
So happy you partnered with visit Cornwall 💕...super vlog
It's so great that you are in England where I live. I live in the West Midlands and our weathers not good either.Have a great summer guys.xx
+Alison Hedgecox thanks a lot! Super excited to be here 😄
Great area! Nice theater! Thank you for sharing!
Theatre!
The Minack is amazing, I had the pleasure of going to see a play there last year, and a few of my friends (I study Acting at Falmouth University which is very close to Land's End) got to perform in a production there too. Love the videos guys, new fan here.
Both ways to make a cream tea are amazing!
I love Cornwall. Hope you enjoy your stay. As usual, excellent vlog. :)
Everything looks lit
Went to the Minack many years ago to see a show. Tourists turn up in shorts and t-shirts, locals with sleeping bags and cushions - guess the locals know how quickly it gets cold in an evening watching the play - luckily I was with a local so we were toasty.
Great video guys, I live in Yorkshire, which is beautiful but have always wanted to visit the south coast, must get down there sometime, you've inspired me🤗
Really love these videos. You guys are brilliant! I'm going to Padstow in Cornwall in October so would be cool if you included it in your travels. Lots of amazing places to visit in that area of the world though. Have an amazing trip!
Thanks so much! Sadly, we aren't going to quite make it up to Padstow, but we did wander around Mevagissey for a bit which seems to have a similar vibe 👍 All these port cities are so charming and beautiful!
wow you guys are so kool and very informative.
Yep. That's a British summer. That's the south too! We had a super heatwave that lasted about a week but I hated it.. It was nice for 2 days but a lack of air con and a general lack of preparedness for heat really sucks. As crap as our weather is I do quite like it but that could just be my Irish blood talking! We don't have cream tea that often here in the UK. I had some over a year ago but not since then. I did enjoy it though! It'd be really cool if you went around the UK to see all the castles one day. When tourists think of the UK they often think of the empire but there's a lot of great medieval history too! There are some really nice castles where I live in Wales. Pretty epic when I think about it. Like there's a castle about 2 miles from where I live called oystermouth castle and just up the road from me is a big watchtower/fort. It's cool to me anyway
I stayed in the rook next door ☺️ my friends stayed in that room. I came back from there yesterday it was lovely
In somerset we have it with local apple jam and cream, it tastes like a posh turnover but we love it.
Really pleased you're enjoying UK second time around. I'm from the UK but am over in France at the moment. Visiting Mont St Michel tomorrow - another awesome spot you've visited previously. Have a great trip guys. Looking forward to the next episode already.
Awesome! We loved that place. So beautiful 😍 Hope you get to catch it before the tide, then you can watch it roll in!
I love your videos! I would love to visit the small village’s!! Love the people!!!
Awesome video guys . Glad you tried proper clotted cream lol .Thanks for visiting come back soon :)
I’m a builder. I spend every day outside. In actual fact, the overwhelming amount of time is dry, just not sunny. This summer was hot and sunny for long periods (weeks, not months). The ‘relative’ dampness gives the UK food for the plant-life, hence, the greenery; so when the sun is out and it’s hot you will be surrounded by lush greenery; that’s what makes British summers so idyllic. I love the uk.
I love how you guys are proper foodies :)
I think I said on your last video but if you ever get the chance I recommend Holywell Bay (Near Newquay) it's gorgeous and St Ives which is also beautiful!
You do know the saying for Scones ( the thing you put the jam & cream on ) called a Scone, the saying is: when you not eaten it yet, it is a Scone when you've eaten it is a Sconn ( i.e. gone )
Wow thanks for replying ,what a surprise .If you're in the UK for some time then consider visiting Jersey in the Channel Islands.Fabulous place, loads to see, great places to eat.( The Islands were occupied in WW2 ) I'm on my hols. in the middle of August with my family and can't wait.xx
im a team leader in greggs, (always apoligise to people on holiday for the weather) then cheer them up with a steak bake :3
I love Greggs
Your sausage rolls have been the love of my life and bane of my waistline for years, let me thank you for making every hangover a little less awful!
I live in the UK and planning on emigrating over to New Zealand.
If there's one thing I'm going to miss the most about the UK, it will be scones, with cream and jam with a lovely warm glass of Hot Chocolate on the side (I don't drink tea or coffee, so I make up for that with hot chocolate).
Don't worry about it. Kiwi food has a lot of British influences. Scones are commonplace.
Try the L&P when you get there.
I saw Midsummers Night Dream at the Minack as the sun was setting, it was pretty amazing, I reckonise that cafe too :)
Wow, such awesome views.
Definitely try and pop down to Looe if you get the chance, lovely seaside town and they do great cornish pasties.
Crazy Cornwall roads .. you did well !!!
You really need to go to Hayle and go to the sunset surf cafe, and take a walk on qwithian beach it is beautiful and then make your way into St Ives it's so cute and stop in one of the lovely bed and breakfast places. I have many lovely memories of St Ives my favourite place everr xx
Really love your vlogs guys, keep it coming 😀
So glad you're enjoying the yummy adventures ❤️
My home, west Penrith and Penzance. Enjoy guys!
I really hope you got to try the local ciders always worth it!
Tintagel castle, Witches Museum in Boscastle and Rockey Valley in Tintagel are all dope places to go too.
Witches museum isnt tacky either, it's pretty legit. Shame about the weather, it's been pretty nice here the past few weeks.
Nice video! I’m from Devon and glad you came to the southwest :)
You guys should really consider Beer Quarry Caves near Sidmouth, Devon. The history behind the stonemasons and quarry workers on the tour is actually quite heartwrenching. My parents recently went there and the pictures they showed me were fantastic, a really interesting bit of history.
If you ever come back another great place to have a cream tea is St Mawgan. There's a little tea room and garden behind the post office there. You can have your cream tea either outside or in the conservatory area.
It's really quaint and it all comes in proper tea sets but they're all mismatched which adds to the charm. They also do a savoury cream tea in additional to the traditional cornish cream tea, which consists of a cheese scone, butter, ham, cream cheese, a generous slab of hard cheese, some chutney and a few slices of apple. So if you're more of a savoury person than a sweet person you might enjoy that.
That theatre was amazing but gave me a serious case of vertigo. Reminds me of the nose bleed seats of what is now Guaranteed Rate Field before they fixed them - it was terrifying.
Guess its true on what they say about England weather lol. Its always rainy and cloudy D: but so much nice countryside to explore!
if you guys are in the UK again you should try a High Tea, it is the fancy version of the Cream tea. served on a cake-stand, one layer of the stand has sandwiches ( particularly cucumber sandwiches) the next has scones and the final has miniature cakes. and washed down with a champagne as well as tea. this is available at most high end hotels which have tea rooms. my Favourite would be the Old Parsonage in Oxford, but you can get it anywhere in the Uk, ( note traditional time for a cream/high tea is 4pm, but it is a full meal so no need to have lunch aswell)
Cornwall is so stunning...even with the bad weather :)
It really is! I wish we'd brought proper rain gear so we could've kept exploring in any conditions 😓
I'm glad you guys are enjoying Cornwall! Its a shame that its going to be mostly raining whilst youre here. Its also cool youve teamed up with visit Cornwall so they give you some good ideas of what to do during your stay. However if they dont suggest it St.Ives, and Kynance cove are pretty much a must along with Minack Theater and Eaden project, which youve already done. Where i live in Falmouth is also really nice. Have fun exploring!
+Dan Fisher yeah the weather hasn't played well since we got here 😂 but we knew what we were getting into. It's been awesome so far! Wish we had time to do more. Thanks for the recommendations! Minack was 👌

I don't know if you have ever visited the Cotswold's or not. If you haven't give yourself a treat and pay it a visit. It really is one of the jewels in the crown of England. If you think i exaggerate take a look at Ray woods video's of the Cotswold on Y T
You should go to Boscastle, it's such a quaint village. There's a really cool Witchcraft museum which attracts lots of visitors, there's some pretty amazing artefacts. It's full of things from very distant bygone times :)
America meets Mongolia meets the UK. Nice!!! Now I want to have a scone and clotted cream!
I went to the Minack theatre in 95....I was the only one there for an hour LOL. It was fantastic.
Really enjoying your videos guys, they're a great way to while away my insomnia. :-)
Re the clotted cream: a lot of British things are less sweet than their closest American equivalents, because we don't either refine sugar as much or load in as great a quantity as they do in the states. If you got into the UK before American multi-nationals bought up the chocolate industry and FUBAR'd the recipes, you'd have noticed that our chocolate was noticeably different too, for the same reason. (Sorry, I don't mean to sound like I'm crapping on your homeland here.)
If you ever manage to find your way back to the UK again, I could most recommend that you try Northumberland, the northernmost English county. If you base yourself out of the town of Alnwick, you'll be only about ten or twelve miles from Hadrian's Wall and the county is the most densely packed one for castles in the whole of the UK with a great many National Trust and English Heritage properties too. You also have fish and chips which legitimately rival Cornwall's, being freshly caught out of the North Sea not many hours before. The landscape is itself hugely unique and beautiful, albeit very different to Cornwall's.
Northumberland found its way into George R.R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire novels (the basis for Game of Thrones) in many ways, including its ancient rulers being styled The King in the North and the Wall, the one in Westeros being an exaggerated version of Hadrian's Wall and serving pretty much an identical purpose.
I’m welsh, but it’s always the jam first guys 😊
You two are so awesome and fit so well 💕
Gorgeous video guys, congrats!
Thanks so much, Ingrid!
I know I'm extremely late. But I'm glad you've enjoyed Cornwall!
Wow... that's the YHA just outside St Just where my sister in law lives..... Right near Cot Valley and Cape Cornwall.... I have been to the Minack too!!!
In fact that Valley view of the ocean outside the YHA I am sure is Cot Valley
FULL WATCH LOVED IT! ..👍
Cream isn't sweet unless you have that squirts stuff from a can. Clotted cream is delicious. Try clotted cream ice cream some time.
When it comes to the cream and jam debate, I like to go cream - jam - cream. Little bit controversial but I'm a big fan of clotted cream.
You guys should also go to the Lost Gardens of Heligan. It's an incredible place, totally beautiful
Hey guys! Getting totally addicted to your channel! Lol I am a huuuuge fan of flying the nest, so when all of you got together I really started watching all of you! :) I still wonder how all of you fund yourselves to continuously travel!? Do you also volunteer or just save up for years ahead of time along with selling all of your things?
I’m from Cornwall but I live like 1 hour or 2 from lands end :) I’m really surprised you travelled down south west :)
The Minack is such a surreal spot! Porthcurno Beach underneath it is amazing in summertime too. Did you guys visit St Michael's Mount at all? It's a castle that literally sits on an island in the ocean. I just put up a video about it on my channel - it's worth checking out!
The Minak Theatre is amazing
