I would keep the spool tensioner pretty tight until you get use to it. Its gonna kill your casting distance but it sure beats spending the whole day untangling backlashes. Good luck!
@@mobassnbeer At 4:30, your excessively torquing that bass's jaw for no reason. Hold them vertical. I'm not to trying to be a jerk but if you truly care about those bass you would change your habit.
Proof you dont have to set the hook so hard
Dinkfests are fun on light tackle
kayak fishing is the best.
Do you use bait caster reels?
Most of the time I do, but I don't have any bfs and the pop-r is so light I was using a diawa reel

Exactly. horrible technique. poor fish have broken jaws.
Not to be 'that guy,' but you aren't supposed to crank a bass's bottom lip like that to display it. Broken jaws all around. :(
I'm not sure I know what "cranking" a lip means. I don't wanna hurt any fish do you have timestamp so I could learn what not to do?
lol bass open their jaws all the time.

@@benj3911 They don't open their jaw that wide and not at that angle, you're not a true fisherman if you don't care about the fish.
