How to Build a Curved Nightstand by Bending Wood

- Hi builders! Let’s make a curved nightstand by bending wood (kerf cutting). This was my first time kerf cutting and it was so much fun!
This build is made almost entirely of plywood so it’s budget friendly and easier than you think. I hope you enjoy watching it!

Materials:
(2) 4x2 sheets of 3/4” red oak plywood
1 1/4” pocket screws
(2) 14” drawer slides
(1) 1x8x8 red oak board
Edge banding (optional)
Wood Glue
Favorite stain color
Hardware of choice
One of these days I’m going to try this. I just need all the tools first lol 😅 good job on the furniture piece I desperately want a curved nightstand.

FYI you CAN use the fence for NON through cuts. So what you did is safe and not uncommon. I used to think the same, if you have questions about it check out Inspire Woodcraft. He teaches a lot of tricks that are safe and one is using the fence for dados, etc. so long as they are not through cuts
