Like many people, I watch a lot of woodworkers here on UA-cam. By far, you make furniture building the most accessible for the average woodworker. Your designs are simple and elegant. Your construction methods are not complicated. This build series is great. The furniture is beautiful. Thank you for empowering us to build great furniture.
I really appreciate that! I just told someone for every comment asking me to make things more difficult, I get a hundred more like this who appreciate that I keep things attainable. And honestly, comments like these just make my day and reaffirm the work I’m doing. I hope to always encourage people vs be a gate keeper to the hobby. So thank YOU for your kind words. They mean a lot to me.
I haven't commented in a while. Another well done project. My shop is almost complete. Hoping the garage doors come in this week. I pray that you were unaffected by the flood.
Thank you! That’s so exciting…I’m sure you are ready to put your new shop to good use! Thankfully we aren’t in the area where the flooding was, but that is such a sad and devastating situation.
The nightstand turned out very nice! It will give Lucy a place to keep her bones while sleeping in the guest bed.....ha! Thanks for telling how to do things to make the build easier. I usually make things on the fly without plans and run into problems along the way too.
I always appreciate that your projects are doable and affordable without the necessity for exotic tools and expensive materials. Also appreciate how you learn from your prototype and put the new and improved version in your plans.
I have a friend whose son wanted to get into woodworking, but he always thought you need a ton of expensive tools and years of practice to create nice pieces. I recommended your channel to her son and now he has the confidence to create projects on his own. So thank you for reminding us its about imagination and vision, and not owning a shop full of the latest multi-thousand dollar tools!
Shara your furniture builds are some of my favorite builds anywhere! You have a great eye for details and your work is second to none💯. Thanks for sharing..
Good morning Shara, nice project. Came out beautiful as always! I love how you show UA-cam projects don't always go perfect 😏. Your an amazing lady and thanks for inviting us into your shop.🙂 have a great day!
Good morning! Happy Saturday! I’m glad you enjoyed watching and seeing the “bloopers” haha. Hopefully it prevents someone else from doing the same! Thanks so much for watching and following along. Have a great weekend!
they are great, most ppl probably agree that leaving in the "hick ups" is value added. there is usually one part of a project that requires problem solving, always appreciate seeing how you work through it.
I thoroughly enjoy the fact that you share the rough parts as well on your builds. Mark of someone that really has pride in their work. And your work is, as always, spot on. Keep it up.
Aside from the unforeseen, eccentric characteristics of the underside; the nightstands turned out very nice! That's what prototypes are made for anyway; to work out the kinks. Besides, they bring the whole room together anyway and that's a perfect plan in my opinion.
I like these nightstands. I agree with Cynthia. I appreciate that you leave the 'bloopers' in when you edit the video. This, of course keeps us from making the same little blunders and I enjoy watching you make a boo boo and then adjust/cover the mistake. Everyone makes mistakes. It's how you adjust and cover your mistakes that's really important. BTW: I love your glasses. My wife wore a pair just them when I met her in 1965. She wore them until 1970 when she decided to go 'glam' and get some glasses with little rhinestones in the frames. I called those glasses her 'Volkswagen' glasses and always teased her that she needed some windshield wipers on them. Anyway, your glasses are cool and you look cool in them. Thanks for the video. I always look forward to you and Sam posting new videos each week.
