I bought it from a local Store in Town.
It called " Seiryu Stone " , very common for an Iwagumi!

Hello can i ask if its ok not to cap Tropica substrate? Becuase i watch some Tropica advertisement and they said that to cap the Tropica substrate,im just confused its need to be cap or its ok not to cap the substrate? I hope you answer my questions 😊 since in a beginner and i want to learned more about aquascaping specialy i want to have more knowledge about substrate thank you😊
@@johnasga8788 hey! Yeah it it recommended to Keep the Soil moist (in a closed enviroment) because the soil can crumble and Fall apart if it was dead-dry,
If you have a open bag, make Sure to close it thightly or Transfer it in a Container with a lid. ( store in a cold place & away from direct sunlight)
You can also keep it moist; just spray it a couple time with Destilled water (RO water).
@ ahhh bro what i mean is, after you pur Tropica substrate its ok not to put gravel or sand on top? Becuase in thier advertisement , they do is tropica substrate in the bottom of the aquarium and they put gravel on top of the tropica, so my question is it ok not to put gravel or sand on top or it work on the same procedure? That the thing mate i hope your help me about curiosity thak you

Yeah it is okey to leave it like i did, you don't need to top it up with Gravel or Sand!
@ but bro is it ok to put gravel on top atlis to save a little money, it woll works too in grass carpet even i top it with gravel? And one thing mate if you saw the video of tropica they put gravel on top? What you think mate? Hmmm im wondering becuase im planing to put gravel on top and put monte carlo or any grass carpet do you think its still works on that kind of method?
@johnasga8788 hmmm i think it would work but not so ideal because in the gravel there is no nutritions, but i think it would work. But i would not recommend it.
If is the Budget money the only reason why you would use gravel, Just use less soil and more Stones(lavadrain) underneath!
I have the same tropica soil, how often and how much water change you do in first month?
Also what is your TDS parameter?
I've changed the Water in the first Month every Week, mostly on sundays ^^! I didnt exactyl have the TDS, but it should be around 350 µS/cm

Can I ask that why you fill salt water into the tank ?
and do you use CO2 ?. Because I think that heiferi require a high co2
@@Noah-ye9zz its not Salt, they are Minerals for Destilled Water!
And yes i use Co2 as shown in the Video!:)
