Rome and Spartacus, I have watched them 5 times and I wanna start Rome again because of this video :))) why don't they do it like that anymore, all the series now are dumb, besides Billions, and peaky blinders(still waiting for the next season) there is nothing to watch
I was gutted when Marco Polo was cancelled. You could tell it was made on a high budget. The production was phenomenal and I really felt captivated by the kingdom of Kublai Khan. How is Wandavision, the most watched show of 2021, one of the critically acclaimed series and became a cultural reset for the MCU viewers, not in this list? The show had a budget of more than 150 million dollars
Wow, I never knew that these shows had huge budgets to produce these episodes, it was almost like the studios (who brought these TV shows to life) were about to be broke at the end of each episode or show, that's incredible
I remember reading about the Robocop Series from 1994 costing around 1 million dollars per episode, which for the mid-90's is pretty huge and considering the actors involved probably weren't a huge chunk of that seems all the more high.

the get down was visually amazing. the music numbers were phenomenal. it was clear that is where the money was spent as the acting and story was minimal.
I know the 1990 Flash TV show on CBS was expensive. Most of the expense was on special effects (to create his super speed and other abilities), which is why it only lasted one season.
They already have to pay for the first season, plus rights, plus reshoots, plus new writers and show runners, it is already a massive cluster for that show and they already spent 300 millions and they just finally started shooting.
I was expecting LOST. It was the beginning of big budget fantasy/sci-fi drama. The pilot was the most expensive at the time it came out and I assumed the rest of of show followed suit since the production value was incredible for the time. Also with such a large cast, even though most were fairly unknown, I would expect it to be pretty expensive.
