Just found your channel, nice to see a carver from the UK. I’m in England, I’ve been carving about a year and there seems to be a few more people starting to carve now. Also there are some great UK based knife makers and their knives don’t cost a fortune and arrive quickly. I’ve subbed and I hope I see many more videos from you, enjoy your whittling.👍🏻

Cute little Santas and foxes and love that squirrel. You mentioned it’s difficult to get carving knives in the UK. I heard about Ben and Lois Orford and he is in Herefordshire. Great people! He forges different types of tools. I had a left handed spoon knife made from him years ago and it came extremely sharp ready to go with a beautiful plum wood handle. Check him out maybe another outlet for your needs. I dig your new hair color by the way. Dare I say, like a fox. 😊

Im in the uk and got my occ knife and 2 DHK from chipping away in Canada. Great people to buy from, they email you with the shipping options all at cost, you chose and they send over. Takes between 2 and 3 weeks to get through the uk system but worth every penny.

Wonderful carvings and knife young lady ...OCCT makes a good knife ..They are thinner blade then Flexcut and slice the wood better ..Congratulations on the buy ..Your ideas and painting is quite impressive

Loved the video! Wish you could upload more. I have an OCC knife and it’s great. If you ever get the chance get a Deep Holler knife. Both are way better than the flex cut I started out with but the deep holler is top notch.

What brand of knives do you like? And your gloves look great
Hey, I haven't tried many, but flexcut is pretty good and this new knife by OCC tools is fire too! My gloves are pretty basic though, they are just nylon. I would suggest getting proper cut-resistant gloves

What type of bandsaw are you using
Titan TTB705BDS 80mm Electric Bandsaw. Not the most reliable thing in the world, to be honest :D
