You are great from the arrival, surveying the situation to formulating a plan of action until complete. Just totally amazing to listen to you explain every step.
Your camera work and video making have much improved since the first recovery on this compilation (It is Dec 2020 now). You make some great videos now, and I really enjoy watching them. Keep 'em coming, please.

About 2yrs ago I built a 1/32" scale 70ton Rotator out of balsa / bass wood. I played with it a bit and broke the front outrigger sections clean off. Then as I started repairing it, I noticed I fractured the parts I made of the knee boom / rear lift. I also noticed that I fractured the rotating base / the section of the crane that actually makes it rotate. Which commenced in a near total teardown of the entire vehicle and a full rebuild. Initially it took 8mo to build it. All parts that were broken have been fixed and or redone. Im now in a process of doing more research (your videos) and OVERBUILDING it. I appreciate the videos.. and strangely.. I detest drones. But I can completely see how using one captures.. the perfect imagery. Thank you!
Better to over-build and have it survive life, then to build for looks and have it fail the first bump it gets; sort of like how the actual Rotator Tow Trucks are built in real life. = - )
@@steadholderharrington9035 I cant imagine the types of problems an actual Rotator faces in real life vs what it cant handle... (Id guess a big part of its life is the constant abuse and probably a mileage turnover under. A bit like Enterprise turns its cars over at 40k mi est.) My Rotator is by far my most "technically complicated". Its by far my most complicated design of the dozen vehicles wooden same scale Ive built so far. I have built in service-ability, where as.. fixing it is as easy as popping up a single part.
@@SlidTossedPissed Having seen an actual rotator being built in real life in front of me (not every minute understand), and the varying assembly stages and the vital component merging stages, I have to say... its a very detailed and involved process, and these people who build the better trucks out there DON'T CUT CORNERS when it comes to beefing up and strengthening what needs to be to ensure that their product will give 120% for far longer than most people will ever own one of these magnificent machines. @@SlidTossedPissed That's where the novelty of the imagination comes in in the Garage Model industry. Nope, I'm not sure if you are in the recovery industry but there are times when you can upright with a load and times when you can't. These "trash trailers" have flimsy walls, with all the weight it can and easily will tear through the wall when trying to upright, especially when they are overloaded to begin with.
