Yep, had to look it up myself after the hunt. A first for me. About two days after I found mine MetalDetecting NYC pulled one from the NYC woods and didn't have a clue what it was, so I let him know in the comments. That's what's great about this hobby, the history and the help!
Great Hunt there. All the Rings you found excellent. I have three parks where I live in Nevada and have only found one Silver Ring in 16 ears detecting them. The Korean Ring you found hope it is Silver. The Silver Ring is very Beautiful. Congrats on your Gold Ring. The Brass Barrel Key you found I love it. Haven't found a Brass Key that old or a Silver or Gold Ring for a few years now. Take Care best of luck out there
Thanks for watching! That Korean ring is certainly a looker, but didn't test out when I put it to the acid test. May still have to take it to a jeweler for a final appraisal.
There's a park not to far from me where I've found close to 500 coins and lots of rings since 1990 when I started to detect. But there are two areas there where I haven't found so much as a clad penny! It would be great if you could check it out and see what you might find. There are also 5 parks in town that were established in 1896-7. Who knows, you might find the Holy Grail!
Wow what a day congratulations on all the great rings thanks for the great video
