You did an amazing job with your winter containers. I do a few myself, using materials from my property. I’ll send pics when I complete mine. I love your creativity and your inspiration and you’re right, you can’t get it wrong. Nice job. 👍
Love this, Vita! Your videos always give me inspiration. I have so many brown hydrangea blooms. What a great idea to use in winter containers. And definitely the ornamental grasses. I loved them in my summer containers. Easy to divide and you have an instant thriller. 😊
I love to forage for winter pots and usually do it after Thanksgiving. I can find almost everything in my own yard but sometimes supplement with things like magnolia leaves, that I purchase. I don't like to cut from my red twig dogwood so will often purchase that or curly willow. In the past I've spray painted branches but think I also prefer the natural look. I don't have teasel but have lots of seed heads from ornamental grasses, astillbe and echinacea. Your pots are beautiful. Love the birch logs.
Thank you! Oh wow - no freeze yet? I'm guessing you'll be getting one pretty soon. We have some very cold temps in the forecast starting next week. Brrrr! 🥶
I love this idea and I plan on doing it as as well! Think I'll add some Christmas decorations like bulbs and stuff. I don't really have much from the yard to add.
Hi there! If you do a search on Amazon for "Window Box Brackets" you'll see a variety of different ones. Just be sure to take the right measurements for your particular railings. Good luck, friend! 😊🤞🏼🌺
The containers look great. I love the natural and understated look.
Thanks so much! 💗😊
This is FUN! I think I will go for a walk in the woods today and do something fun in the pots on each side of my entry door today.
It's definitely fun foraging for greens and other material for your winter pots! 😊🌿
What a difference those beautiful natural planters add to your porches! I think I will try to make one or two myself! Thank You for the ideas!
Thank you, June! It's so nice adding garden greens to pots just to get us in that holiday spirit! 🎄💓

I have huge arborvitae (don’t know the variety) in my yard that are dark green. I forage from them and it always looks beautiful.
What a great idea to forage from your arborvitae for winter greens. I'm sure your containers must look beautiful. Thank you for sharing, friend! 😊🌻
Did I hear you say you aren't crafty??? I disagree....your pots are beautiful!
Awwwww. Thanks, Sharon! 😊💞
I would love to know what are the plant hangers you use for your porch. I have railings like that and haven't found anything!
