    When I was studying anatomy we called the two grips hammer grip and pencil grip. The hammer grip was the strength grip and involved the little and ring fingers clamping the shaft of a hammer against the palm. The pencil grip was for detailed motor control and involved the middle and index fingers and thumb. I get what you are saying about the 'OK' grip but the strength of the grip still comes from the little and ring fingers. Try stopping the club using your 'OK' grip with the little and ring fingers extended - not easy, and not recommended except very carefully as an experiment.

    Not only would I like a mace like that one but have you ever heard of Zen kahuna and Coach Tara? The first time I ever seen a mace bill it was 71-year-old at the time Zen kahuna what a mace bell like yours and I was just like wowzers!.
