I recently heard the new album and i haven't to any Morbid Angel since but when i came on your channel this starting playing automatically and i couldn't help but smile. This is awesome.
Awesome, absolutely perfect performance. Drums are incredible and his vocals are exactly like the first album ... these guys are getting better with age
chuu207 Of all the first generation death metal vocalists, he is among the very few that still sound excellent. Steve Tucker will be fine, but I think it was a mistake to let Vincent go.
chuu207 I did hear the last album. I wasn't a fan of the techno tracks, but the 5 or so metal songs on there were pretty good, and David sounded quite good too. The way they did the vocals back then was not sustainable - Chris Barnes was the epitome of that style, and you can see it's just not possible to do that for very long. So Vincent adapted his style a bit, but anyways his style changed on each of the first several albums.
Frontman of the most influential death metal band of all time is poser... yeah, sure. That's logical. So what you did to death metal scene mr "true metalhead" ?
The way he changes the riff at 1:30 from the original version totally ruined the magistral aura of the song. I'd rather listen to the album, fuck my neighbors.
@cruiser277777 I know they'll play new stuff, it was meant more as a joke. Why would they release such an awful album if they know that this is what people like? It's not like you have to rehash the old albums, but IDI is nothing like them.
Illud was shit but it had about 2 or 3 death metal songs that are decent on it but it was mostly an industrial experimental failure. It sounded like a crap manson cover band but i still have hope for MA that when pete comes back they will be epic again.
@cruiser277777 EV, BfB, and Nevermore are decent. As I listen to them more, the guitar tone bothers me more, and the double bass sounds like a typewriter. I'd say with proper mastering then yes, it would be more dominate-esque. The other songs are just inexcusable, song title or no. Radikult is a sin against god and satan and every human who is unfortunate enough to listen to it. It's not enough that some of it is just pseudo-industrial shit, but the lyrics are unforgivably awful. Gateways FTW.

Your the same guy that says "Fuck the old Dr Who, He Sucks" David Vincent is a great Bass / Frontman.

@ridah223 is it any good?
@TheUndert0ker Had I bought the album, I would've set it on fire. It's truly abhorrent to me.
@Bryso69 Tim Yeung of Hate Eternal.

Tim Yeung
