Lora, I think it's a great thing to have the Bob too. I am keeping my hair just below the ear, like Nikol's. I do not have very many white grays though I am embracing the shiny highlights I am having show up in my brunette hair!!!
Thank you for the stainless steel gua sha! There was a dr. on UA-cam who recently demonstrated that we should open up the lymphatic drainage pathways on the neck before beginning a facial massage. She said only do this on one side of the neck at a time - light pressure, using oil,from the back of the ear and down the side of the neck then moving toward the middle of the collar bone. Do this 10 times each side. Then begin whatever massage. I thought it was worth passing along.
I've been doing it for about 3 months now from 4-7 times per week. I love it & have noticed my skin looks much nicer & tighter

This was great! I have taught my clients Gua Sha for decades and I love it and believe it. Consistency is key. WI also recommend massage afterwards and facial yoga. The oil is also key.

According to Chinese skin professional Lanshin on UA-cam, the gua sha tool should be nearly flat on the face when used, and not at a sharp 95 degree angle. She has an excellent how-to for this marvelous device. And her skin is amazing.
I use a jade version and it really does sculpt! I haven’t dropped it yet but almost have a few times!

Nikol-Im Turing 51 this August and I’m completely new to this Gua Sha. I do have a jade roller that I enjoy using on occasion. I feel after watching this video that should be doing something daily. I like to use my Gua Sha on the backs of my hands also--actually, pretty much all my face skincare I like to continue on my neck, décolleté and back of hands. I have added you Gua Sha tool to my wish list, it looks wonderful. Thank you for your beautiful design.

I saw a Chinese on UA-cam who specifically mentioned that you're not supposed to use the edge of the guasha to massage. You need to hold it in a way that the flat surface of guasha massages your face.
That means you need to hold it inclined to your face. That is beneficial to skin. Using the edge isn't the right practice.
That's what that Chinese Gua Sha expert had said.
Here, what I see is that you're using the edges to massage.
I guess you should try that method so you can see if it really makes a difference.

If you are adding In an essential oil to your oil I would suggest a single oil.
Is it Nickel free stainless steel? About 20% of us are developing sensitivity and some develop severe allergic skin reactions to nickel. Thanks

Leave the facial oil on your face unless you find it to be too much for your skin in the morning. If you are doing Gua Sha at night leave on for extra hydrating benefits. You can add a moisturizer over to seal in the serum.
Hi Nikol! Little question, do you wash your face once you finish? I guess it would not be a good idea to go to sleep with all that oil on your face :( specially for prone skin like mine…thank you. (I always wonder about the order of using things like serums, creams, spf etc…) little lost
It's true. The stones break all the time. Also they pick up on energy. It could be nice if stainless steel had cz in them for decoration.

i am in medical field..my question is you don't have lymph nodes in the face..they are under chin and neck. so to drain you would have to push the device down towards the lymphatic system with every move

I don't know, looks rather harsh rubbing that think on your face but after watching this and reading the comments I would 1-buy to release stress & tight muscles and 2-looking younger!
It’s not harsh again I mention light pressure it feels incredible especially since we don’t massage our faces on a regular basis. You will see and feel such a difference. Glad you are open to Gua Sha.
