Hell yes. Most artifacts that cost 2 end up coming into play tapped (mind stone being an exception because it’s colorless mana I think). You pair this with a single mana generating creature on the field, and you’ve gotten insane value out of this 3 mana creature. When was the last time such an OP card had to be banned on MtG online? Feel like it was a green creature.
The most op thing about the card actually is the quotation mark placement. If it was moved so you could only trigger twice total per turn, it would be a lot less silly (there would still be flicker stuff but that’s relatively ok)
That and it's unlimited per turn when it's such an open ended ability, being that it counts ANY targeted ability and heck why not it gives the ability to every creature not just itself for some reason. It's hard to think of a commander aside from maybe Golos or Chulane where there's so little thought needed to make a deck that doesn't just function but obliterates the game.
Literally just making the land enter tapped makes this card way less deserving of a ban. It would still be super busted, you are ramping or drawing 2x per creature on the board with the combo out, but it wouldn't just instantly win the game the second it's assembled so often.
Playing any good commander vs bad casual decks looks the same. What's craziest about Nadu is that even if you whiff the trigger and the card that you reveal isn't a land, you just. . . get to draw a card effectively. When card advantage is the weakest payoff for a triggered ability, that card needs to be at the very least nerfed if not banned.
I love Brawl and this card has certainly been added to my instaconcede list with Rusko and Ragavan. I appreciate the content and fully agree with your conclusions at the end.
Wait, that ability can only trigger twice each turn on EACH CREATURE IN PLAY?! I was like "oh, cool ramp and draw engine", then no. Just no. I remember hearing how bad chullain was back in Eldraine, this looks like his little brother or something

If Nadu gets banned, I see it happening less because of how powerful it is (which it is very powerful), more because of the logistics of tracking all that it does and how log it takes so long to go through all the triggers, resulting in it taking very long with the opponent sitting effectively doing nothing (and thus not playing the game).
Honestly "very powerful" barely even scratches the surface of how busted this card is. In the grand scheme I'm dogshit at MTG and I have like a 13-2 record with a nadu deck
The nashi player was trying so hard, at least 5 pieces if interaction but the simic value engine is impossible to stop when wizards says fuck it and breaks the game for the 500th time in simic colors.

I think the worst part about this card is that the floor is so much more powerful and annoyingly consistent than a lot of other commander's ceilings. Like, even if you can't go infinite with Nadu, you can still ramp yourself hard in the early game to such a degree that your opponent removing and giving him commander tax does nothing to stop him. You've already given yourself enough mana by turn 3 to replay him for five mana or even seven mana. It makes meaningfully interacting with a Nadu player such a nightmare and painfully unfun even without the braindead infinity combo that happens by just breathing on him
this is one of the most powerful cards ever printed, it is absolutely insane that they ever allowed it to be released in this state I will say it has been fun absolutely dominating brawl with a nadu deck though lol
Nadu is almost a really fun and cool commander.* Unfortunately, it's something that is easily abused rather than a neat engine for a quirky deck, which is kind of sad honestly. * "Draw a card when you X" isn't really that fun, but Nadu's ability is broad enough that I think it's fine.
I spent a good chunk of change on a Nadu commander deck, I have gone to 3 commander nights and can fully confidently say he needs a ban/nerf. I don't have any problem winning it is absolutely too damn easy to take the pod by turn 4-5 and I am no where near CEDH.
Even without 0 cost equip ability cards on arena, this card is so unfathomably busted. I have played maybe 50 games with it, ive lost i think twice. Once to tom bombadil and another to a toxic deck. Everyone else either scooped or got absolutely smoked because im casting an eldrazi titan or a craterhoof as early as turn 4.
Holy crap i thought it meant twice per turn across all creatures but this is just absurd... And your opponent just has to sit and watch you fucking target all your cards one by one, TWICE, and then you actually take your turn with a bajillion cards and whatever other value
Hoestly mh3 was overall a terrible set in my mind. They just helped push and make cards like nadu, the ever annoying eldrazi got support it did not need and so on. Would of been nice for the set to support things that are neglected. MAybe some centaur, satyr or scarecrow tribal support for one. Just something to empower neglected card types or mechanics instead of what they did.
The first two matches looked strong, but the third match was ridiculous. The deck isn't merely powerful, it's consistent, requiring basically just "any 1 mana equipment and some landfall" to combo and combo. It's non-interactive, even a wrath of god, if the opponent could magically play that on their third turn, would still leave all the lands behind, and you have so many cards in hand you'd just shrug and do it again. I'm not even sure what could stop this outside hard counterspells, since if they target your commander and you have a protection spell, your opponent gets double-hosed. In short, I don't think the title's clickbait, this card is dumb.
what the hell has been hapening to magic. Stoped playing 5 editions ago because of the power creep and them not cycling standard, but this is ridiculous. Have they fired their entire QA team or something ?
Does WotC not talk to magic players when designing these cards because what the actual fuck. I had to do the triple take when this card was revealed. How the fuck was this shit ever printed
It was totally necessary to give every other creature the same ability but at least the ability "only triggers twice per turn". Why not just make it a 0 cost commander with flash?

Just something to empower neglected card types or mechanics instead of what they did.
wait so its twice each turn for EACH creature?? wotc smokin crack in the card lab
Straight to the hell queue with this bird!
what the hell has been hapening to magic. Stoped playing 5 editions ago because of the power creep and them not cycling standard, but this is ridiculous. Have they fired their entire QA team or something ?
If the music wasn't copyright it would be hilarious to play "surfing bird" whenever you take a 30-minute turn with Nadu
