Love how the announcers for teams with some of the dirtiest players get the most upset about dirty plays.
It's like that in the NFL too. When the dirtiest player in the NFL Vontaze Burfict got completely laid out by Juju Smith-Shuster the announcers about had a heart attack. They seemed ready to tear Juju a new one. To be honest I'm pretty sure it's like that in most sports when a dirty player or a teammate of a dirty player announcers are ready to kill you but when these same dudes do the same crap the announcers either turn a blind eye or downplay it. I mean in this very same game shortly after the hit to Charlie Marchand speared a guy in the groin and Jack Edwards just calmly said he hoped it was only a minor penalty.

Want to know more about him? I know basically everything there is to know about him. What hollow he started with and what he uses now and why he changed. What blade pattern he uses and what brand of gear he actually likes. Flex, lie, shaft, and I even know the only piece of gear he has never changed or will change.

Want to talk systems? How about the 1-3-1 and why most people think it's a bitch system. How about other traps? Or the 1-4. Or why dump and chase is really hard to do in non-contact hockey. What shape should you always try to form on the ice with your teammates.

My AAA high school coach (now they call it Tier 1) was Bob Hartley. His son was my goalie. He only did our practices though because he was an AHL head coach at the time so he couldn't do our games.

I kind of agree. A shove off the face-off is pretty common to keep the other guy away from the puck. I think the other player just wasn't paying attention to how much stick was poking out and put it in a bad area. Penalty? Sure, but I wouldn't classify that as "dirty" in the hockey sense.

Well this is the NHL. The people who run this league are content to let it be a side show and have no interest in actually protecting the best talent it has. They are perfectly happy to be fringe sport and serve up what the mouth breathers, Trolls and Cannibals want. Its only a matter of time before someone absolutely wrecks McDavid and gives him a season ending concussion. They guy is scoring too many goals, which gives him a big Bullseye right on his helmet.

The Bruins' announcers are an absolute joke. They were apoplectic when McAvoy got cheap-shotted, but in the very next scene, they somehow managed to gloss over the fact that "choir boy" Brad Marchand speared the other player in the groin.
