I would like to get one someday, put flat top pistons in and zero deck it probably make a dual carb tunnel ram and make a better crank sensor off the dampener or flywheel and find a way to control the ignition with that, with headers and a 6 speed from a Cummins, not sure if that would all work but i think it would cool. probably put the motor in a vehicle better looking that a 2nd gen.
My grandpa was a big fan Mr. Freiburger. We would sit on the couch, eat some tacos, drink some budweisers and just watch Roadkill, hotrod power tour, hotrod garage, roadkill garage, engine masters. If you were in it, we were watching. He's no longer with us but the memories live on. You don't just make great content. You make an impact on people's lives. For that, I want to say thank you!
I've been watching you, finnegan, and dulcich forever! I hope you realize the impact you've had on not just my life but everyones life that watches you! Youll be a part of hotrodding history forever. Just wanted to say thank you for all the good times
Your story telling and gift with language is really what makes you one of a kind Freiburger. Lots of people on YT are turning wrenches but none of them would entertain me for 50 minutes sitting on a stool just riffing. Even without the racing, you and Brian doing commentary keeps me glued during Drag Week. Some of your Roadkill sign-offs have been down right tear jerkers. The way you can personify each car with a unique and humerous names make them co stars.
Freiburger best advice I can give, is do what you want to do with youtube. There are a million car things on youtube, so do what you are passionate about and what you care to do. Personally and my opinion: You are a wealth of knowledge of cars, and cars history. I'd love to see something like that, history of historical drag strips, cars, famous drag racers, ala Hot Rod magazine article in vlog form of some sort. Along with you tinkering on cars, testing parts, taking old junk and making it better. The short of the long of it is, we are fans of you, do you, and we'll watch.
Brian Lohnes has an amazing channel where he dives into Drag racing, engine, and vehicle history. Maybe you and he could team up for some mutual content, I know you know him thru drag week etc :)
The best part of UA-cam.. a little more blue humor than what you're allowed on TV can be fun. Just PLEASE don't make the whole channel all sugary syrupy sweety diabetic shock over-the-top clean like RK 😆
I'd like to see some of your adventures on here, the ones where you get all those amazing Americana pics from. Also, as for your V10 Dodge truck, have you ever looked on eBay and seen how cheap the Viper intakes and heads prices are? Cheers!
@@TheDavidFreiburger I follow the "how to be a UA-cam star" people on UA-cam. I follow them because it is amusing how they all change like the wind. Anyone who follows their passion seems to keep the diehard fans; then UA-cam follows them.
@@TheDavidFreiburger how many vehicles are running Like if you cut off a arm and needed to get to the hospital but the car needs a battery that u can do before bleeding out but like put a intake on a sbc probably not gonna happen before bleeding out
After seeing your 68 Camaro with the straight 6, I was compelled to share a story. I was serving in the US ARMY back in the late 80's when I had an accident and totaled my 1985 Mazda GLC while home on leave. After I settled with my insurance I made my way back to Fort Hood, TX. I went to the local Chevrolet dealership in Killeen, TX and ordered a new 1988 Chevrolet S10. I hadn't been gone from the dealership more than 5 minutes when I saw a 1968 Butternut yellow Camaro on a used car lot. I had to have that car so I test drove it and struck the deal. I canceled my order at the dealership and drove my new to me 68 Camaro back to the barracks grinning from ear to ear. When I got out of the Army in Jan of 89 I loaded every belonging I had into that Camaro and drove it all the way back home to East Tennessee. A year or so later I ended up selling the car for stupid reasons and have regretted that decision to this day. Years later I tried to track the car down but had no luck. The reason for this story is if you decide to flip the 68 you have I may be interested if it's within my budget. I've always wanted another 68 Camaro.
I'm convinced that true gearheads just like cars. I think that if we're to be honest with ourselves, all the manufacturers had their gems- and their garbage. So, there isn't one "best brand", there's just the best cars.
i think we all can agree that we miss the old school roadkill style videos. no fancy video, no big expensive build, just a guy wrenching on his project in the driveway keeping it on the road. and hell yes to videos on the 2500 V10 dodge
This made me miss the heyday of Roadkill and Dirt Everyday. We didn’t know how good it was until it was gone. Great to see some old favourites get a mention once again.
I think this will end up being better than the motortrend stuff. Much more personable, reminds me of the older days of roadkill. Been watching you since early 2012, you always do great things!
@TheDavidFreiburger being able to have a comment section and being able to have that community conversation is what I missed on the motortrend app. Watching motortrend is a lonely experience compared to being able to talk amongst like-minded individuals and maybe the chance to talk to you too! I greatly appreciate the reply!
Side Note: I really liked the Torino Wagon road trip video. I didn't think I was gonna sit there for an hour and ten, but I did. Oddly, the nostalgia held me.
Your episode driving the station wagon and checking out old buildings, signs, and small town exploring combined with the classic roadkill shenanigans was a masterpiece!! Worthy of a Grammy award!
Being one the grew up ready Hot Rod amd 4 Wheel & Offroad magazine, I didn't realize, but I've followed your career. For suggestions on what to put on the channel: all of it. Anything you put your heart into, turns to gold. Keep up the good work. Gasoline forever!
Very happy to see you're uploading solo content again! EDIT: Yes, I'd love to see episodes on the Ram truck and I'm sure a bunch of other people would too.
Yes do a video on your ram! Actually I’m excited to get any video on any of your cars! I’m really glad you’re posting videos and I’m excited to see what you do.
David for me, watching you all these years I have learned that your knowledge of cars and engines and automotive in general You are a treasure .....the content you have brought to the internet is amazing and you are in a category of your own. Wishing you the best and keep sharing your knowledge....thank you
Man, I've been watching your shows for years, and I'm so happy to see you've got your own channel. I love hearing your stories and learning some great stuff about classic cars. Thanks for being you and keeping this information in circulation.
David, I think most of us would watch you do literally anything to any vehicle, including the Ram (which is a killer truck btw). You are an absolute legend in the car world and have inspired gobs of people to get out and work on their projects, including me. Looking forward to seeing what you put together on this channel.
As a long time UK based (and now former) Motortrend subscriber and follower of Roadkill since episode 1, who got booted due to geo-restrictions and how they changed how they did business, can I just say THANKS for dusting off the UA-cam channel to produce content again. I've been displaced now for about 12-18 months so I'm just really glad to be able to watch content you've produced again.. just endlessly watchable, interesting, fun content and I'm extremely grateful for it.
@TheDavidFreiburger I'm another UK guy who was watching Roadkill from day one. My favourite episode was The Lowrider in the Desert. Has me crying with laughter every time
@@TheDavidFreiburger I second this, I was gutted when dirt every day ended and I couldn't watch roadkill or roadkill garage anymore as these were the only reason I signed up to motor trend. Such a let down that they booted us off in the UK. Just glad to be able to watch you again as I have always been a massive fan of your content. All these over produced shows full of drama just don't cut it against the low buck, highly informative and entertaining videos you put out. I have learnt so much from watching and will be forever grateful for what has been and hopefully what more there is to come.
As much as I love the wrenching videos, my favorite to see from you and your MT crew are the road trip videos. Even on RKG when you guys fix something up and then road trip to a track are some of the coolest moments to me. There are a whole bunch of content creators sitting in the garage wrenching, but a serious void in the classic car road trip content, you guys are the best! We love what you do
Wow! You do as you say. You said you'd answer as many as you could, and you did not disappoint. I scrolled and scrolled only to see your responses to a variety of posters'. Not many do this personal touch which is why you're loved and adored by other enthusiasts. Talented and extremely knowledgeable...but humble. You rock! ( more content on your '60 ford 4x4. that unit is killer!)
I’m a big fan David! On HRPT 2016 you and Mike were repositioning Stubby Bob and my grandson fell in love with it right then and there. You took a minute to talk with him and set the hook! 2 weeks ago my now 15 1/2 yo grandson drove for the first time in my 5 spd FE powered Mustang! Looking forward to continuing this adventure that started with the Junkyard shows!
@@TheDavidFreiburger I’m the guy you hear screaming in the background every time you put a flywheel on a Ford engine without a block plate! BTW there is a great little hot rod shop in Cañon City Co. you should check out.
I must say Dave, the crusher Camaro has been one of my all time favorites, and the fact that it will continue to change only makes it better over time. In my opinion, that’s what makes it the iconic car that it is
Thank you. I have wondered for years which vehicles were personally owned by, vs. owned by MT. As to your questions about what to do...I would love to see a low budget build on your channel. Junk yard engine that you build from mainstream brands. No trick $10k heads. The work is done on jack stands or ramps. Typical DIY tools, no $2 million shop. Rather than a reality show format, how about more of a how to format. You are a great historian and teacher. No loud annoying music like MT uses. I want to hear what you have to say, the engine, the burnout. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos for us. I still remember the interview with Joe Elmore from Horse Power TV where your name was mispronounced in the late 90s.
What I like is you make having a project car accessible to all of us. I started road trips with my son and he grew up watching you. Our road trips are some of his favorite memories. We have a 74 Dodge Charger SE and a 65 Valiant with a Slant 6 as project cars. We barely have a place to work on them but you make this approachable and thats our inspiration. I hope we can get these drivable in the near future.
You constantly make me feel more normal David. I’ve got like 12 cars in various stages of being projects mostly trucks and I’m constantly being told. I should downsize, but obviously that’s not the case. They’re all precious to me in their own way and for their own reasons and each one of them is cool in their own way, even if I didn’t own it. thanks for making us car guys feel a little bit more normal about our sickness. Great job on the channel so far - I’m hooked already. Coop
So happy that you are making content for your channel! I've seen all of the Roadkill and Roadkill Garage episodes at least 5 times, so I'm really looking forward to your solo content. I hope Roadkill and Roadkill Garage have longer lifespans, because I'm also big Finnegan and Dulcich fans, thanks to you. I appreciate how your relationships with them are different, but still obviously good friends. Pewe also rules, and I'd enjoy more content with him! I'm so happy that Steve Brule can enjoy his retirement. Another awesome dude!
I love old cars, but I never had anyone in my life who shared the interest and could pass down all the history and stories. I love watching you because I feel like I learn a lot about the history and culture behind these cars. You’re like an encyclopedia of vintage steel
Hell yeah after a 2 year vacation from UA-cam. 3 videos at once out of nowhere. Love it and hope you stick with it. I am happy to watch anything you upload. Real Car guys are happy with anything automotive. You have always had interesting taste in cars and the variety you bring is awesome.
I didn't think you would sell the "Disgustang"!!! Watching Roadkill and Roadkill Garage has totally changed how I own and build cars. Everything had to be show quality before, like my 69 GTO I've owned since high school (1983) but now I have a 70 Challenger R/T with a motor home 440, horrible paint, all original interior and I drive the crap out of it. There were many others in the last 10 years or so and there are cars in my shop getting the "Just get it running" treatment right now.
I don’t even know if you will read this but if you do, i want to thank you and Mike! I recently lost my dad and really got depressed but your show(s) made it possible for me to finish our restoration of my dad's 1967 SS Chevy II. I was going to originally LS swap it but i couldn't do it, the car deserved its original 327 although i have put Holley EFI on it and vintage AC so we can drive the car and enjoy it. I swapped out the stock solid FT cam for a hydraulic roller and installed a Monster 4l65 tranny. Losing my dad was tough, still is, but he would want to see me and his Granddaughter wrenching together and enjoying the car! Stay safe, Merry Christmas everyone!
I have a much greater respect for someone who isn’t a “brand buyer” I love flipping cars and finding new things to play with. My biggest regret is getting rid of my big bird yellow 1966 Dodge Charger 4spd manual back in 2009, loved the attention I got driving it.
Man, I'm so happy that the YT algorithm decided to show me this video! As Teenager, I loved watching Roadkill with my dad, back when it was still on UA-cam. It ignited a spark of love for old American cars in me. Unfortunately for that spark, I live in Europe, so I'll just keep watching these videos, amazed at what you guys are able to drive legally, more or less, over there!
Rewatching this again after the news about Motor Trend dropped. I need to make myself feel better about a bunch of cars staying in loving homes. No matter where you go- if you have a camera pointed at you, I will watch. Thank you for all the great entertainment and knowledge.
For consideration. You have a notable number of awesome vehicles, and one of the great thing to experience is sharing the driving with your friends. Your various videos do that, but have you considered getting a few of the cars, and a few friends, and driving them somewhere as a road trip? Continually switching driving/passenger roles and cars, hearing your friends perspectives, and experiences? We all have perspectives, and when you have established your own flavour for each, it can be interesting to see if those who know you best share it, or see things differently. Cheers, Drewfus 👌
I know I'm a dreamer but if F-Bomb ever needs a new home I'm your guy. I was in high school 2007 and opened my first issue of Hot Rod with the F-Bomb on the cover. I am a forever fan of that car...and a 70-73 Camaro is my dream.
13:15 PLEASE do this. As someone who currently travels 10,000+ miles every summer living out of my 04 Honda CRV I’d love to see a car camper built out of something properly cool. I’ve been looking at Ford Galaxy wagons/country squires myself but any old Muscle Wagon would be cooler than an 04’ CRV lol.
The answer to what we want to see is always more Dulcich! Also: knowing what you know now vs 30yrs ago, how fast can you go with factory-only parts? (massaged/swapped as you see fit) Or similarly: build to an NHRA S/SS class (or Gasser?) like you've done for Bonneville, bring in class pros as guests to share tricks Or: always loved the autocross episodes, go deeper into it with either the General Mayhem or Rampage (it wasn't mentioned in your list...) Really enjoyed the update, thanks for letting so many of us live vicariously through your adventures.
With Motortrend falling off (mean no haste in that statement) I am so excited to see you and Fennigean uploading to youtube more. I miss the golden days of roadkill when it was uploaded regularly and not behind a pay wall. I have no problem supporting content creators or paying a monthly membership but it sucks to pay monthly membership to only watch it maybe once a month because I don't care for any of the other "scripted" style shows. Keep doing you the fans will follow and make sure you can keep producing what you love to do!
Some random notes. Super Bee: drive it occasionally and keep it forever. Same with the Hemi Gremmie and Crusher Impala. Keep racing the F-Rod forever. And finally, I know I've said this before in Roadkill comments but I desperately want to own every Ford station wagon that has passed through your oil-soaked and slippery hands. My first car was a '73 Ford wagon; I also used to have a great Mercury Grand Marquis station wagon with a built 460 that I never should have let slip through my oil-soaked and slippery hands. I live close to Diversified Creations and my dream is to find an old Ford wagon, update the entire powertrain, running gear and suspension and have them turn it into a Pro Touring/tow vehicle/highway cruising luxury monster. Glad you have this channel now; I'll be back, often. P.S. Great to see you at Roadkill Nights this year!
Dave, I'm so pissed about you, Steve, et al getting cancelled .This was my favorite entertainment. You really hit the nostalgia button for me. In high school in 1962 I bought a 31 model A stripped A gasser and built it into my highs school ride with a bone yard 55 Olds 324 engine and one of those monster cast Iron hydros, 50 Old rear, recapped slicks and a taxi cab yellow paint job by Earl Scheib. "We paint any car any color for $29.95" That morphed into a 57 210 chevy with 4"11 gears and a close ratio three speed, 22o power pack 283 engine and I painted it myself. My beginnings of car madness. Keep up the good work/ I love the wrenching videos.
more F-bomb content please, Nelson TT power c'mon man Id love to see more. Keep the FRod on the track its perfect like it is. Id like to see the pro street nova on a drag and drive for sure! Keep the OGMT N/A forever! I love boost but that truck makes me want to go back to NA! Honestly you have had the formula down for years just keep it up, you were my hero and inspiration back in 88 when I was in high school reading your editorial in Car Craft, your attitude was different than the other editors of the countless mags we had to read back then. The crusher Impala is so fun I bet! the body roll and mile long burnouts are the best.
I would like to see the green Camaro pushed to the limits with a hot six. Keep the in-line and show us just what these engines can do- cams turbos, wherever.
Agreed. I want to build a turbo 6 with a 6 speed SO bad. That car could be most of a season. TA on stay tuned just did a dodge truck up like that and it's pretty awesome.
Loving the content. My kids are starting to watch Roadkill, Roadkill Garage and now your channel with me. They love watching the adventures and the cars. The oldest just bought his first car at 13 and we are dailying it for him and upgrading. Thanks for inspiring the next generation of gearheads.
I think anything you put out will do well. Really enjoy the way you explain your way through things in a relatable and genuine way. Would like to see more of your off road stuff, maybe get Pewe’ to do an OG DED type trip
@@TheDavidFreiburgerdefinitely do stuff with Pewe’ I really enjoyed both of y’all’s jeep articles though I’ve never owned one. Think I still have the magazine where his infamous hammered flat fender is on its side getting the frame welded back together.
I love all the Roadkill cars but the Crusher Impala is my definite favorite! It was great seeing the reactions from the Mighty Car Mods guys when they first saw it. And every time they drove it they were laughing and having a great time!
@@TheDavidFreiburger Fix up the RAM. I have 2014 2500 4x4 that I use for everything from plowing snow to whatever. I have a black canvas top on mine that folds down when needed. I love this thing and will keep in running for ever. My wife just gives me that look and grumbles when she has to climb up into it.
I would love to see your V10 Dodge truck. To me it would be fun to see it fixed up. Not restored, no crazy money. It would be great to see it serviced, maintained, and to use it for what it is....a basic work truck.
A little bit late to the response party but, I would love to see all the content David. I think this is why we fell in love with all your shows. You are very educational and don't over explain, fun to watch and we can all have a good time. I think even the your Ram truck would have some following as well. From a diehard flame guy, you’ve gotta paint flames on that Nova! They make everything better (and faster, too 😁) Thanks for all that you’ve done for the hot rodder community, myself included. Your collection is awesome and you’ve inspired so many people with all these creative ideas and adventures. Best of luck making this channel explode! 😎🍻
I think you have enough cars to have a museum. Here's an idea for you. Continue what you did on RoadKill with a country drive to all of the cohosts where they work and create a whole series based on your ability to get to places where you can your car or truck to get worked on by the cohost. Kind of like drag week but across the country with all your friends and cohosts you worked with. It has been an awesome 164 episodes, keep on doing what you love.
I remember seeing the Ram in the background of pictures in Hot Rod as I grew up. Always thought it was so cool, since my dad has a second gen as well. I also remember a "cheap headlight restoration" article done on your Ram's headlights: pertinent, as my Magnum had cloudy lights when I was 17. In a way, I DONT want to see videos dedicated to the truck. The personal satisfaction I get from seeing it still pop up in the background is what I've always loved the most. It's like the endlessly reliable worker behind the scenes
First off, like many on here, I want to thank you for starting up your channel for us to watch. My son and I have been watching your content since he was little (now 20 and in the Air Force) and have spent many a night talking about the latest thing we saw you and your cohorts do. So much, that recently, when he was being stationed in New Mexico, we road tripped from Oregon through the central valley and actually found the famous Dulcich farm.. just mild stalking, I promise, just trying to get a glimpse of you guys again as we were lucky enough to see you once in Oregon on one of your previous road trips in the off road Challenger. Anyway, I am in agreement that anything you do that is a low buck, driveway type of build we would love but my favorite is the OG Muscle Truck or Crusher Impala and totally dig when you can make something be reliable and look like it wouldn't be and make obscene power. Hope all is well and keep up the great work.
@28:00 dodge v10 get spare manifold,(its 2 piece fyi), unbolt top half of it and get spare top half cut off and fit blower on it and remove 55mm throttle body and put on 67mm throttle body for the low end grunt it needs for towing heavy loads. 67mm supposed to be a direct fit replacement.
I want to see a street Gremlin with wheelie bars that will pop wheelies. I'm a builder/racer, so I very much appreciate your explanations with just enough technical detail to keep my attention but not so much technical detail as to become boring. I will say you have found the magic balance for an excellent, informative, educational and entertaining presentation.
I like your idea about assembling the "other camaro". I would enjoy seeing you do the lowest buck possible assemble. You should use the covid 350 for an engine, and just about anything that you can beg , borrow, or steal. Most of us don't have a lot of money to play with cars. It would be a salute to the early Roadkill days and not getting it right, just get it running. I love everything you do, so you cannot disappoint me. Thanks for all you and Finnegan and Dulcich do.
Man I love the white Nova, triple nickel BBC, blower on a tunnel ram, crazy power, thing is killer and reminds me of how cars were when I was a teen during the 90's, such as the NSCA and NMCA cars.. LOVE IT!!!
I think at this point, most of us would watch pretty much anything you do. I've been a fan since the early days at hot rod. Just keep doing what you do and most of us will watch. Keep up the good work and have fun.
I have that Ram in a 4x2 from '94. Well, more patina and I need cam and crank sensors put in so it'll run again. I love the truck. I want to see that Ram come back to life, so I can follow suit!
I have a 1993 GMC Sierra C1500 short wide single cab. Bought it bone stock with a TBI 350 NV3500 ten bolt 3.08:1 gears. It now has a 1992 2500LD 14 bolt 9.5 3.73:1 Detroit Locker. I swapped the front 5 lug to 6 lug. I got a 2004 NV4500 MW3 and I had it redone and sent a few internal parts of for cryogenic treatment. Slapped a stock 1998 One ton clutch in it followed up with a Gearvendors. 3” drive shaft built for it. I had a B and W turnover ball and have the fifth wheel for it. No headliner. I also dropped a 454 radiator with flex o light fans. On the stand I have a LQ9. I found new in the box Vortec Max covers. Trailblazer SS intake new in the box. I have plains on doing a stage 2 kit with LS3 valves. 3.9” rotating assembly. Is I have a chance to buy a 8.1L U-Haul truck engine and had a thought of dropping that in. I had this truck through my Army career and what to make it special. Thoughts? 6.4L V Max or 8.1L? At the moment with the TBI 350 it does well. 19 mpg in the highway empty.
@@TheDavidFreiburger I would have to be careful not to go too much torque. With the beefed up NV4500, it’s estimated to handle 613lb-ft over stock 475lb-ft. I won’t have no more than about upper 400hp with the BB. But the V-Max with a 3.9 or 4” crank would go lower 600hp before I reach that 600lb-ft of torque limit. I already have most of the parts for the V-max built. But I do have mir than on truck.
all of your cars are amazing, and the history of them and you and all the people you work with. Amazing stories. But your knowledge and love of cars not only shows but comes to fruition. Always a pleasure to watch you and your friends with cars.

Yes I wanna see all of your projects, from the v10 truck to your Chevy station wagon! Information is why I watch you and follow. Keep up the good work.
I vote for the "other Camero" bolted together with all the rusty panels, satin clear it all, put in the Covid small block, some neat period correct rims and street tires, complete interior/windows, some kind of overdrive transmission, 2.90 rear end gears, and drive it from California to Detroit stopping at every tiny town along the way. It could be a series that lasts 8-10 episodes, do it with your fantastic voice over and commentary about the towns, their highlights/history, and personal nostalgic stories.
The Ram v10 should totally be an episode. That truck represents the type of stuff us poor folks build and play with.
U don’t build a v10 u use it as a work truck and leave it alone
Agree should definitely be an episode.
Love to see a video of just bringing it back including the AC.
Except poor folk dont play with any chrysler V10 products because the parts are stupid expensive and hard to get

Thanks! I do love the history. YT really seems to want channels to post the same type of content, but I’ll have variety anyway
One of my favorite quotes from roadkill from Finnegean about freiburger, “He loves jeeps, He never drives jeeps. He just has a lot of them” hahaha
Not wrong

Trade me the wagon for my 95 vandura
I love how Freiburger isn’t just a Chevy, ford, or mopar guy. He just has every random thing.
He’s just a true gearhead. He loves oil and gas.
I'm convinced that true gearheads just like cars. I think that if we're to be honest with ourselves, all the manufacturers had their gems- and their garbage. So, there isn't one "best brand", there's just the best cars.
A real car guy. I always hated the fanboy nonsense it just limits you to one option. Horsepower in any form is fun.
Agreed. All Big Three deserve recognition. Oh yeah, don't forget AMCs..lol.
its not that random
i think we all can agree that we miss the old school roadkill style videos. no fancy video, no big expensive build, just a guy wrenching on his project in the driveway keeping it on the road. and hell yes to videos on the 2500 V10 dodge
This made me miss the heyday of Roadkill and Dirt Everyday. We didn’t know how good it was until it was gone. Great to see some old favourites get a mention once again.
F-Bomb is my all-time favorite. I just love everything about that car!
Yes, would watch any F Bomb episode.
I think this will end up being better than the motortrend stuff. Much more personable, reminds me of the older days of roadkill. Been watching you since early 2012, you always do great things!
That’s nice of you, thanks!
Is this the future? Bring in Mike and Steve!!!!
Side Note: I really liked the Torino Wagon road trip video. I didn't think I was gonna sit there for an hour and ten, but I did. Oddly, the nostalgia held me.
That’s great, thank you
Your episode driving the station wagon and checking out old buildings, signs, and small town exploring combined with the classic roadkill shenanigans was a masterpiece!! Worthy of a Grammy award!
A Grammy?

Best thing is, is how down to earth you are with your followers. Thank you. Great watching all that you and your friends do.
Very happy to see you're uploading solo content again!
EDIT: Yes, I'd love to see episodes on the Ram truck and I'm sure a bunch of other people would too.
Thanks
Agreed. I love my 96 ram 1500 would love seeing episodes on the ram
Yes do a video on your ram! Actually I’m excited to get any video on any of your cars! I’m really glad you’re posting videos and I’m excited to see what you do.
YES! I would also love to see the V10 Ram get fixed up.
I have wanted episodes on that RAM for YEARS.
Rehab, build, off road trips, shootout with the tater truck, whatever!
Thanks for listening/watching!
David, I think most of us would watch you do literally anything to any vehicle, including the Ram (which is a killer truck btw). You are an absolute legend in the car world and have inspired gobs of people to get out and work on their projects, including me. Looking forward to seeing what you put together on this channel.
You’re too nice, thanks
I agree, I’ve followed David for many years.
I’m grateful you’re back, thank you
@TheDavidFreiburger I'm another UK guy who was watching Roadkill from day one. My favourite episode was The Lowrider in the Desert. Has me crying with laughter every time
And another, it genuinely hasn't been the same without RK. So pleased you're doing this now!
@@philgrimsey3637 hahah that was hilarious
As much as I love the wrenching videos, my favorite to see from you and your MT crew are the road trip videos. Even on RKG when you guys fix something up and then road trip to a track are some of the coolest moments to me. There are a whole bunch of content creators sitting in the garage wrenching, but a serious void in the classic car road trip content, you guys are the best! We love what you do
I love the trips. Thank you!
I appreciate you saying that, cool
I’m a big fan David! On HRPT 2016 you and Mike were repositioning Stubby Bob and my grandson fell in love with it right then and there. You took a minute to talk with him and set the hook! 2 weeks ago my now 15 1/2 yo grandson drove for the first time in my 5 spd FE powered Mustang! Looking forward to continuing this adventure that started with the Junkyard shows!
That’s super cool, thanks for telling me!
@@TheDavidFreiburger I’m the guy you hear screaming in the background every time you put a flywheel on a Ford engine without a block plate! BTW there is a great little hot rod shop in Cañon City Co. you should check out.
Thank you for caring about us Dave, and giving us top tier stuff to watch.
You have no idea how hard I have looked for content on the F bomb!
Thanks! It will be even longer…but eventually
The F bomb is truely the car I care most about.
It’s always interested me. I’d love to see it get some tv time.
I must say Dave, the crusher Camaro has been one of my all time favorites, and the fact that it will continue to change only makes it better over time. In my opinion, that’s what makes it the iconic car that it is
Watch for an upcoming video with the 30-year history of the car
Yes, do episodes with the Ram. Love the 2nd gens, and the V10/manual combinations are very rare.
Yeah have always liked that thing
Just picked one up.. 5k
Would absolutely love to see a video of the ram V10 maintenance work. Air conditioning is a must.
Unicorns are always appreciated!!
That was a long time ago! Thanks for the comments and input
David is a very old man. Isn't he in his 70s? I read that on the internet.
You sir can do about anything and we will watch. Thank you for your continued content.
Thanks for saying so!
I remember reading the original article about the Muscle Truck build in either Hot Rod or Car Craft when I was like 14 and loved it ever since
Yeah, it was in Hot Rod. Thanks for sticking with me
I didn't think you would sell the "Disgustang"!!!
Yeah, I miss the Disgustang a lot. But I know what it's like to have to make such a hard decision, so I can't fault him for that.
Oh yeahhhh just realised he didn't include that
His hatred of ford is real, and sad…
I think motortrend owns it
I don’t even know if you will read this but if you do, i want to thank you and Mike!
I've been subscribed to this channel for 13 years, so I'd say just keep doing what you were doing. 🔥🤘🔥
I have a much greater respect for someone who isn’t a “brand buyer” I love flipping cars and finding new things to play with. My biggest regret is getting rid of my big bird yellow 1966 Dodge Charger 4spd manual back in 2009, loved the attention I got driving it.
Awesome! So pumped for new Freiburger videos! America needed this!
Thank you
Man, I'm so happy that the YT algorithm decided to show me this video!
Mix tech with car culture history. The history gives inspiration for new builds! I’m watching your pro street build, learning all I can!

As someone who currently travels 10,000+ miles every summer living out of my 04 Honda CRV I’d love to see a car camper built out of something properly cool.

The answer to what we want to see is always more Dulcich!
Also: knowing what you know now vs 30yrs ago, how fast can you go with factory-only parts? (massaged/swapped as you see fit)
Or similarly: build to an NHRA S/SS class (or Gasser?) like you've done for Bonneville, bring in class pros as guests to share tricks
Or: always loved the autocross episodes, go deeper into it with either the General Mayhem or Rampage (it wasn't mentioned in your list...)
Really enjoyed the update, thanks for letting so many of us live vicariously through your adventures.
All you have to do is build/fix, race, and repeat. And we will watch.
Hope so, thank you!
"We paint any car any color for $29.95" That morphed into a 57 210 chevy with 4"11 gears and a close ratio three speed, 22o power pack 283 engine and I painted it myself. My beginnings of car madness. Keep up the good work/ I love the wrenching videos.

Absolutely loved my V10 Ram. I drove it all through high school and just sold it last month. 15 years.
Glad you and your son have been with us so long!

Love your channel, I just let it play and never skip the adds! Keep up the great work! Cheers from Ontario!

I always go big-block if given the choice
As for you questioning what people want to see? They want to see it all! If you are worried about likes and ratings and sponsors, do burn outs! LOL!
Do anything illegal to show teenagers how they can do illegal fun stuff! LOL! As for me, show me how to fix my air conditioning on my 90" Bronco that is rotting in my front yard! :( LOL!

When you were building the crusher Camaro. I was building my first car which was a 1967 Camaro. Great articles, great car and fun times running around Morgan Hill.
So great you are back on youtube. I had the MT subscription but it went away in europe. I would like to see more of the F-bomb, General Mayhem. Also that big orange Ford truck looked super cool!
MT is on discovery+ but its lame now. No good shows anymore.
Sheesh, when im sure we all are worried if Roadkill will end after so many amazing season, you keep on delivering. Legend. Thank you.
