This is one of the best yoga nidra meditations I have ever heard. It is absolutely excellently adapted to sleep especially those who might be experiencing insomnia as I have been lately. I am deeply, deeply grateful for this work. I myself am a holistic psychotherapist, clinical hypnotherapist, and experienced yoga teacher who has designed and uploaded to UA-cam his own yoga nidra and other guided meditations. I say this only to validate that I have a lot of experience with this work myself. That being said, I feel like I can truly say this is absolutely top-notch. This is my favorite meditation to fall asleep. Since I started listening to it my deep sleep has increased and I fall asleep faster than I did before. She has a very soothing voice.

Yoga nidra was invented in India by the Bihar School of yoga. I have learnt it there. They don't recommend it for inducing sleep bcoz it uses awareness. You can't be aware and fall asleep. So this a brilliant relaxation technique. It can be done at any time 2hrs after a meal. Early evening works to set the sleep routine going but not directly at bedtime . However this is an excellent production although somewhat changed from the original. It's also recommended to learn the technique and perform it without voice support
I hope that you all find peace and rest in this practice. I have a chronic health condition that makes it so difficult to sleep and may not be here much longer but this did help me to relax. While moving through the sides of the body, when cued to bring attention to the left side the RIGHT hip is mention, twice. Just a heads up that you might want to adjust the video. Starting around the 16 minute mark.

Hi, I love your voice too and really enjoyed this session until you got the side wrong, when you come down the left hand side you say 'right hip' instead of left hip or just hip, it really threw me off but I stuck with it only to find everytime you came down the left side you said right hip instead of left. I can't believe no-one else has picked up on this. I'd love if you'd correct it because I can't use it until you do and this is the best online yoga nidra I've found otherwise.
Yes it definitely improves with practice. Try listening each evening for 14 days and you will notice a big difference in how much quieter your mind is and how much happier and relaxed you feel during the day.

The volume is too low. This caused anxiety as I strained to hear. Several of these relaxation content creators program a low volume. I dont know why. I can always turn the volume down. People can always turn the volume down.
I was distracted by the fact that when on the LEFT side, you say right hip!!! - most annoying. Also, you miss out shins and go from calf to ankle.......
