I'm sorry this took so long, but upscaling this video has always been a headache (so much noise and compression artifacts... and the resolution is so low, even for PS1 standards). This time I used alsa64's denoising model, which finally made the results look a bit more acceptable. As an extra, here's also the arcade opening FMV upscaled to 1080p: ua-cam.com/video/q6LC8VUkhT8/v-deo.html
I was wondering how did you de-noise it thought it might be waifu2x then the other programs? Speaking of games with alot of really bad noises, I think Fear Effect is kinda bad, Even the Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge game for a ps2 and xbox game are bad, as it cutscenes are pre-rendered videos that try to match the ingame graphics. Oh how about the Jedi Knight Dark Forces 2 live action cutscenes? those would be good to scale up.
I’ve never felt more represented than today with your comments, guys 🥹 I had the exact same experience when I first tried the leg extension machine at the gym only being able to think about that one scene of Tekken 3 🦵🏼🏋🏻♂️

Every single character introduction in this intro is pure badass. Just look at how King does fitness then enters the arena, how Yoshimitsu jumps from the tree into battle pose, how Nina is reanimated, how Paul fights in a punk alley, etc. Amazing.
That cut showing the light hitting Eddy Gordo was an incredible shot. Tekken was one of the first games I’ve seen that didn’t take a derogatory approach to animating a black/Afro character. Eddy is still in my top 5 of best animated black characters of all-time.

After watching the remastered Tekken 2 Intro as well, it's really crazy to see such a huge difference in graphical quality between the Tekken 2 and 3 intros especially since they're in the same generation of games.
TEKKEN 3 Intro Movie still is a masterpiece, even 26 years since its initial release on PlayStation 1 in April 26th 1998. After TEKKEN 3's release, THE REST IS HISTORY.
My awesome Childhood right there and how many times I crushed my friends with Hwoarang on this game when they have been visiting me! Good memories good times. Nice man
It would have been interesting to see more of Jin when he was living and training with his grandfather. Living that rich grandson life, going to private school, getting chauffeured around etc.

Absolutely the best opening and soundtrack. Goosebumps for the story line, esp the bit with Eddy, in less than 5 seconds it showed how he was saved in prison and who taught him his Capoeira skills.
Hwoarang looked like some kind of BadA**. When he was just sitting on his Motorcycle in the middle of the Road, and starts smiling at the Camera with his left Eyebrow raised. 😏😏😏😏😏😏 P.S. 1st time Breaking the Fourth Wall.

There's even an audio file of the announcer saying "Grandmaster". Would be interesting to see if there is any character data leftover for him.
Correct. Eddy Learned the Art Of Capoeira from Christie’s Grandfather during his time in prison. And Eddy made a vow that he would pass on the Art Of Capoeira to Christie and he did.
