Rohloff Speedhub external gear mech service

- The external gear mech on my Rohloff speedhub needed a service and since I couldn't find any resources online I thought it might be useful to put a video up showing the process. All parts were cleaned with brake cleaner off camera.
Tools used are as follows: phillips screwdriver, T20 torx driver, knipex pliers wrench and a flat head screwdriver. - Спорт
This Speedhub fascinated me the first time I saw it and had to know how it worked. It took a while, but I finally figured it out. Awesome piece of engineering!
I have tried to follow Dan Burkhart's video on the Speedhub a number of times and I understand the basic principles. However, the way the shifting mechanism works inside the hub is a little beyond me. I think it's amazing how someone could imagine, design and build such an intricate mechanism. RIP Bernard Rohloff and thank you for your wonderful creation!

I was sad to hear about Bernard as well. Seems he left way too soon, but that's between him and his/our "Designer." I know he's in an amazing place now that transcends the mere physical realm. Hope his family are finding comfort with their loss.
