Man good job. I was having trouble taking my friend’s fender off on the same truck. Now I know how it’s done! I like how easy you made it and you didn’t talk too much! You went straight to the job which is how it’s supposed to be done. Keep up the videos bud!!!
Good improvement in looks, for the effort. I use a lot of that hammertone rustoleum on my fabrication projects and it will camouflage imperfections well. I’m not sure if it has any UV protection for something kept outside, though. Nice work!👍
The biggest headache is finding good stamped panels, I used to be a body guy and we ran into this all the time, especially with fords. Basically every used parts place buys their stamps from from the OEM after the they no longer fit tolerance. Also even OEM parts like these fenders that have welded parts, it's not uncommon to see parts not welded in the right place, I can't remember how many parts we either send back or had to rebuild by hand because gaps didn't match.
Just a head up you can actually take the fender off without taking the bunper off as the headlight comes out with the fender just to save. Little time!
Good question. A friend did the entire thing he said it wasn’t to hard but alignment took longer. If you get fenders that are already welded together it would probably be pretty fast
Thanks for watching, Sorry I don’t know all the different types and differences. amzn.to/3TqKwWp The above amazon link show 1994-2001 as being compatible. Please double check.
Yes but I reused the inner fender, most fenders I found come in two parts inner and outer. Either way I had to remove the outer, so drilling the spot welds just seemed easier. I’ve never done it the other way so I can’t say for sure. Just how I did it
Thank you for posting this video. I almost bought a set of front fenders to replace myself now I have confirmed that I am far to lazy to attempt this.
I can say I’m glad the video helped. It does take a little effort to put them on. I think if I had to do it again, I’d find a stock set…. No welding

Thanks so much. Glad it made sense to you. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Good video, i found 2 fenders the same car as my truck, so, i just swapped both of the whole fenders
Wish I could’ve done that. Color match would be great
Nice start. Aftermarket body parts can be a challenge. Looks good though.
I’m not going for a restoration just making it look presentable
Thanks for posting...now getting worried if I can get it done...no help here.. wasn't thinking about spot welds...tomboy here lol see what happens
If you get the fenders with the inner attached there would be no welding.
Nice job! I’m also liking your new music 🎶
It got a little louder then I expected a few times, but thanks

I’ll check into the UV. Thanks

That sure seems like it is getting worse.
Nice job! 🤠

Good info, didn’t think of that.
Nice video
Thanks for watching and commenting. Appreciate the feedback,
Do you have links to your rocker panel or cab corner repair videos?
Hoping to post soon. Been a busy year…lol. Thanks so much for watching
is it easier to remove the entire thing or do it this way

Instead of a spot weld remover could you use a drill bit?
Great question, yes. But it may remove more material then you want.
Thanks I will see what I can do thanks for the insight
Can a 1999 dodge ram 1500 fenders, fit on my 2001 dodge ram 1500

Couldn't you just remove the whole thing as a unit and not have to deal with spotwelds

Can you removed the inner fender in all one piece? Thank you in advance
You could remove the inner and outer all together. I didn’t because there was so much stuff attached I didn’t want to mess with it.
