It's something that a lot of people deal with. Hopefully with a man of his calobor, or status speaking out it will open a lot of other conversations we need to start having, and listening to.
Lamar barely talked. Shannon was left grasping for something, anything. Lamar not really ready to talk. And with the shades on I'm wonderin if he high right then and there.
I remember trying it once. not my thing but it's easy to see how people can get addicted to it. it's like taking adderall making you up and active wanting to do stuff, but it only last 30 minutes so if you want to keep feeling it you need to take more every time you come down. a few people from my high school died from overdosing
Shout out to Lamar man. As if being a famous athlete wasn't hard enough, dealing with addiction when you have endless funds has got to be a vicious cycle. I hope he gets well in life.
Shay is a tough one for me, I dislike his positioning on somethings…but boy can he get a valuable interview with gems out of these guys. This interview can help a lot of kids. Nice work
Shannon got that background man makes it so nice to watch the interview not being shocked at smoking at 15 does not get side tracked going into that stays on the course gets right to the point he wanted to have him expand on and have a discussion about
Man I don’t know what it is, but I’ve always loved Lamar…dude seems like a good one that obviously has gone through it…I’ve been there as well; props to Lamar for this interview
Takes a LOT to stand in front of your troubles and share them! Kudos to him and I pray his spirit finds peace ! He does need a small fidget tool to help ….. maybe a button in his pocket. Something .
If u look more into it he had all of those heart attacks and strokes on the haunted bed Zack begans haunted museum look into it it’s pretty interesting it gots something to do with Dennis hof
I have much respect for Lamar after hearing this. I been in this situation myself but I wasn't a Wealthy athlete I was a regular Joe Doe. With all his money I would have Overdosed Realtalk. I thank God that I'm clean now going on 11 years.
How many of us would have fell into the same trap with his money and height... Women love a man that's tall ijs... Glad he can look back and speak on it. No shame Lamar, keep your head up

We definitely need you to interview Michael Irvin next!
You can tell by his hand gestures that this was tough for him to talk about. Much props to Lamar for being a open book.
That looked like active addiction to me TBH....and I had a drug problem. I think he's using
@@dustinpowell6407 or he hurt his risk playing basketball the night before 🙄
@@RAM-fm6qv It’s not just him moving his wrist.. he’s twitchy.. can’t really sit still/stop moving. Doesn’t mean he is using, but these are symptoms.
@@dustinpowell6407 I said same thing to myself but I’m tryna give him the benefit of the doubt but a spade is a spade
Great observation, I was just getting ready to say the same thing
The background is so amazing
It’s a psychiatrist office. Those couches are very distinct.
Every one makes mistakes but it takes a real man to take responsibility for his actions and take accountability
Much respect Lamar💯✊🏽
Wish we can say the same about women..
@@daplug9424 Dont hold your breath. With women it's " living my truth" or "its men's fault"
I'm glad that Shannon gave Lamar this platform to talk about his addiction

@@russelljohnson437 you can’t trust addicts. It sucks to say but it’s true, lying becomes as easy as breathing when your an addict.

Lamar being at Kobe's last game was special. Those teams had a special bond...
1:37..."Wow!"...sounded like Shannon wanted a lil bump🤣
😂😂😂😂😂
When you hear about all the heart attacks and strokes he went through it’s unbelievable to think that he is even alive, let alone this coherent.

Shannon interviews like a police officer
😂
Exactly hahaha I was thinkin it sounded like an interrogation
Lamar looked uncomfortable constantly moving his hands and scratching when talking about addictions.

Great convo unc
This man is high now doing the interview. Couldn't stop moving just leaning back & forward rubbing his hands together
Or maybe he's just hella uncomfortable opening up like this...?
No, he's having a normal reaction to publicly discussing a traumatic experience. The movements are helping him regulate his body's emotional response.
That's a real convo
Wow this is big Shay!
Now that place is perfect for Hennie time.
Shannon is a great interviewer
God keep LO happy and healthy.
OG Lamar SALUTE
