- I love a good hearty Chicken fried rice. This recipe is so easy and is a great way to utilize left over white rice. What do you think I should make next?
1.5 Cups cooked sushi rice
1/2 - 3/4lb chicken thighs or protein of choice
season with:
salt to taste
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
1/2 cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
2-3 tbsp butter (total)
1/2 a white onion
1/2 cup carrots
1/4 cup cabbage
1/2 cup peas
1 egg
4 cloves of garlic

When I said “side dish” I definitely didn’t mean it like that! I just meant that whenever I get hibachi I get fried rice.

Update: I made the rice this morning then put it in the fridge for this afternoon and made the fried rice and it was sooo much better, tasted delicious 🤤

I love fried rice with salmon. I make mine with jasmine rice, and always add thai basil and green chillis if I have it.
