  • In this Photoshop Tutorial, I am going to show you how to to use the vanishing point filter to wrap a design pattern around any object.

    A MASSIVE THANK YOU. I have followed other people's guides and none of them have worked. All the rest of the guides are mainly on just plan and simple rectangle shapes, so seeing a bag being wrapped is 100% what I needed, sadly the end results are not as good as someone else has done, but I shall keep trying to see if I can match his artwork.

      Play with the blending modes and opacity until you get better results

    hi, i cannot paste into the vanishing point my image, it will change me the tool into the rectangular selection (M), don't know why

    I followed your steps but it does not work with me. After I create the Vanishing Points planes and pasting the design, it does not wrap around the planes...

    i wanna know how to increase transparency of object in vanishing point... for example i want to paste my mobile wallpaper in background but it looks odd without transparency. 🤧🤧

    it doesnt work for meee :( when i hold ctrl while stretching the first grids it just streches the grids, not add a new one :(

    Żeby zmniejszyć zaznaczony obiekt względem środka należy wcisnąć i przytrzymać SHIFT+ALT. Wtedy dopasowane zrobisz błyskawicznie.

      You can put it on top of it and use layer mask to hide the place you don't want to see

      because you are doing in CMYK Do it with RGB

      First and foremost, you need to copy the image you will use and create a new layer and then select the vanishing point and once you have your selection, you can paste the image and that is it.

      @@DesignLibrary90 Your answer didn't help me at all. Turns out the document setting must be set to RGB. It won't work if its CMYK.

    Thanks for making this video, super helpful in figuring out how to use this tool. One thing, drives me nutso, PSA for anyone making "how to" videos" if you're not going to narrate, please, please, please stop using the euro trash, pop, club music. It's so distracting. I know I can just mute, but man, this music grinds my gears. Just saying - end of rant.
