Very nicely done. It was Bert Monroy who first introduced me to the need for multiple shadow layers, and it is something I strive to pass on. Some thing with other shading and highlight effects, although I think your approach is more organic than my own. I tend to stroke and blur paths that are clipped to the object, and mask in where I want it. You have the skill to freehand paint the layer mask to reveal, but my hands are not quite steady enough to do that. I am also a big advocate of using images of the real thing as a guide, and to make a habit of routinely looking closely at objects to see how the shading should look. Clouds being an obvious example. I think this is the first of your videos I have seen, but you can count me as a new subscriber going forward.
Really nice tutorial! I would've changed the green on the apple leaf a bit more to fit more with the greens that were present in the jungle image. So that it's a bit more blended in.
The red apple is there for contrast. Blending here does not mean it's supposed to become blended like camouflage but to blend a disparate image of an apple realistically into another environment.
I've been working on Photoshop for about 20 years. The best improvement of the last years is AI. Definitely a win! But otherwise, I love the older versions that are clean and fast, no BS- Just clean texting and masking.
Photoshop edit is a never ending loop. Once you experize in this, everything you do looks nice. The next time you edit the same, old edit looks like a joke and the new edit looks better. Point is, you dont know exactly "where to stop". Even more color corrections, exposure, hue saturation corrections, color lookups shadows, highlights and many mistakes can be corrected in this apple video even now.
Nice work man you are an artist, but i think if u did folow the light source from the background you gonna have much better result.....don't you think so 😅
Nice bro but i have suggestion: next time don't do change on the red level from RGB channel 7:18 I think the best thing we have to remain as the real color bits while we can improve it by highlights, thanks..
Can u plz keep doing videos like that , it is really very helpful specially from pro like u, With simple steps and amazing result, All other designer like benny production or pixemperfect and others doing well but not explain simple way like u Plz keep doing it Thx 😊
Generative A.I is nothing more but an enhancement of something. It's always still useful to have a skill like this on hand. Since A.I only goes so far, and often still messes up as well. It might get the picture right in the way you describe it, but won't fit with the image you have in your head. That's the image you want to create.
It is necessary to take into account the fall of light under the background, the light shadow pattern is wrong, as well as the shadow from the apple , it is obvious, Good luck
@@abriltolnay1764 There's a "Smart Blend" selected layers button in one of the menus. Basically does this, but the few more clicks I mentioned are for shadow and maybe one adjustment filter.
Not working with a smart object is not very pro... light is coming from the upper left corner, not the right one... the apple has a light shine on the left side which is fitting to the background, but not your shadow...
Hey guys, if you want to create designs like this but don’t know where to start, I would recommend an ebook/tutorial "Design Evolution: Unlocking Adobe Photoshop's Secrets." It was a huge help for me and even got me my first gig as a freelancer.
simply but the most important in every design

Naah its look good
@@eddiek8179 Wasn't talking about the apple itself. But the leaf on the apple.
Which is a different green, than the surroundings, which looks off.

you got a new subscriber❤ brilliant !
I am always grateful for your instructions, good job bro
Awesome tutorial and result!
Very impressive. I've always been wanted to learn to use Photoshop. You can do anything with it.

That's art for you. You never truly know when a piece is "finished".
The apple after editing looks very realistic in the forest
Essa é a ideia 🤷🏻♂️

Is there a method to give a shiny plastic texture to an object? like it was dipped in paint or green slime or some kind of thick liquid
Wow! You are profi!

More of these videos will follow the merge ❤
Do you think this kind of skill will still be relevant with generative ai?
Yes it will be i think , A.i is just a complemetary tool if used well !
@@robbe4929 ok thanks for the imput. I need to know what skills to invest in the future

Ai can't do compositing for custom needs.
Relevant to whom?
good
This seems like Ai should be able to save a lot of the old school manual time to do
hi, tell me please where you got the examples of shadows with a sphere. on video 1:20
Create by myself.
do you tutori playing woth level?
i got headhache woth that 😢😊

where is blur tool
The only thing annoying me are those edges, too rough. Should have masked them smoother.

Bro did a billion layers and adjustments for something that takes 4 clicks in Ps now....
How would you do this in 4 clicks now? genuinely curious

Small help I am using your manipulation 15 work my exhibition art your approved the works I am credit your UA-cam channel
Very complicated
Omg this tutorial needs better music
Use IA, simple!
I think that shadow part job should have been done automatically by AI
best light Effect: ua-cam.com/users/shortsWh4ouIVswMs
The background music is unbearable 👂🏻😱
Then mute it. You got to learn something for free, but you still could not stop yourself from whining.
just get Photoshop generative AI, select the area and write Apple ... there u go !
Saper usare un programma, vuol dire acquisire delle competenze. Non si può basare tutto sull’AI
