My personal favorite jig rod is the sixgill fishing scythe, specifically the 7.3 MH. I absolutely love these rod bending videos! Even if you're not in the market for a new rod, it really shows how different every company is, and really shows the difference in power and action. Keep it up.
FMJ is phenomenal for 3/8 - 3/4oz. jigs in heavy structure. When they bite, it sends a shockwave down the blank that will make you jump if your not paying attention!
Lews custom lite 7’3 jig rod is perfect for me. Stiff enough to get out of the grass, yet not too stiff to where the hook set has some shock absorbency to keep them hooked while fighting them
Those limited invokers are a surprisingly good rod. My wife uses the 6’8” med and slays smallmouth with it. I have a reinforcer MH and it’s my worm rod.
@rhodesianhunter9360 I love my reinforcers, but they're sharp. Great for dragging a jig, but the invoker limited have that little bit of softness that helps snapping a jig or pulling through grass.
I have several including Kistler Helium HMH/extra fast and Expride B. Expride B is my favorite BUT, if I want to throw Jigs, Carolina Riga, and heavy Texas Rigs, my Falcon Cara Amistad is THE rod for me. Don’t have to spend $200 plus more to get the whole package
I can’t pick one due to the fact I micro dissected my Jig set ups. My rotation not in any order Fmj Bmg Braillist Extasy 755 Shorter sticks would be Orochi Jig & Worm orochi swamp survivor Super Destroyer Dark Sleeper.
$189 for a Lew’s rod is a hard pass from me. I'd rather have a Dobyns Kaden, Shimano Curado, Daiwa Tatula Elite, or even spend another $10 and get a Megabass Levante.
🤔 How do you not include the several Fitzgerald Fishing rods that are insanely good? They literally make a Flipping Jig rod but so many of their rods are so perfect for jigs, flipping, swimming, ledge fishing, football jigs . . . 🤷♂️
I recently got the 7”6 heavy shimano Expride and love it! Thing feels perfect to me. Lot of power but definitely not just a broomstick. I got it for flipping it’s definitely my nicest rod. Now I already want more 😂. Next one I plan to get is the 7”0 medium Expride b spinning rod.
@@Ukcat24 that 7’0 medium is one of the best all around spinning rods out there. It can literally do it all from drop shot, wacky rig, neko rig, small swim bait etc. love that thing.
@@renegade2325sweet! That’s great to hear. The main thing I plan to do is throw a drop shot, neko, wacky etc. but here in Kentucky there’s not many places we can get away with nose hooking drop shots, so almost exclusively use a Texas rigged hand pour worm on my dropshot. So being around cover I want a little backbone to be able to get them to the boat. I currently have a medium light and it’s far too soft for my liking, plan to sell it and get the Expride 7” medium we are discussing.
You guys don’t carry this brand of rod but okuma X 7’3 heavy. Extremely light and extremely strong rod. I personally wasn’t a fan of okuma rods to be honest. But the okuma x rods are extremely nice for the price point.
Yo love the rod bending videos, but the most money I’ve spent on a rod is 180$ probably will never spend much more than that and most of the time way less , so how bout so less gucci name brands like lews, or ark, or okumah, or sixgill or what ever more 100-200 dollar rods maybe even less
@@andrewmartin412 Because that more than covers the amount of time in which anything that could happen to the rod that isn’t user error. Plus, a lot of people buying higher-end rods are likely to get a new one in that time frame anyway.
Honourable mentions, Poison Adrena 7’4” H and Megabass Orochi 7’5” Braillist. Great video, im glad you threw the FMJ in there. That’s a wicked stick.

844 MBR is my all time favorite jig rod.
Nrx 873c crr my favorite jig rod

That 7'2" Steez is an amazing spinnerbait rod because of that tip.
I can confirm the Power Pitch and FMJ are both super fun
Love my NRX + 844 MBR
Lews custom lite 7’3 jig rod is perfect for me. Stiff enough to get out of the grass, yet not too stiff to where the hook set has some shock absorbency to keep them hooked while fighting them
Megabass Orochi perfect pitch! Beast of a rod for jig fishing and flipping 👍🏼
FMJ ❤️❤️❤️
7'3 ark invoker limited edition mag mh/fast. Mines perfect as is, but is about to get a steez a. Couldn't be more excited.

The Nrx is and will be the epitome of jig rods. It's the gold standard that all other companies base their rods off of.

That kistler helium LTA is a great jig rod. I have a 7' hmh extra fast and its been my money maker. Kistler always gets slept on
My favorite is actually the jewel virtus 7’4”H/XF. It’s a shame they don’t exist anymore.
Xtasy 755 if you like a slower action or the DX745 are awesome jig rods..
Thanks for sharing!!!
Best jig rods are JDM from Evergreen (i.e. Black Raven Extreme).
Shimano Poison Adrena 7.2 H
Glad someone else knows! 🥰
St croix 7’4 MH Mod-fast
GLX rods are absolutely bad ass..
We agree!
Most my compact are 1/4th 3/8th victory to the skip and pitch lews Super pro SP
@omniafishing what about Falcon Cara 7’3 Heavy Fast or 7’4 Heavy Fast ?

Megabits orrochi brailist 7'4" is a killer jig rod
FMJ
The most fun jig rod in the planet
What about the Lew’s Signature Series 7’2 Mark Rose Jig/Worm Rod?
$189 for a Lew’s rod is a hard pass from me. I'd rather have a Dobyns Kaden, Shimano Curado, Daiwa Tatula Elite, or even spend another $10 and get a Megabass Levante.
Bend the Dobyns rods like the Kaden and the sierrA
Team GLX 👍🎣
DRX 724 - 725 FTW
Shimano Poison Ultima

FMJ or Super Destroyer
How does the 7’2 Heavy Expride B compare to the 7’2 Heavy Zodias? I would imagine it’s the better of the 2 for 1/2 oz jigs?
exprides have a faster, crisper action than zodias, they're not as moderate/soft/parabolic.

Not fond of the long handles.
Too bad. My favorite jig rod is not available except on line from the company.
Dobyns 725c/755c Xtasy
My favorite rods. Only drawback is they are fragile.

Megabass orochi braillist for the win

The $500+ steez rod only has a 5 year warranty is indicating that they don't have faith in their rods.
That’s not why they gave a 5 year warranty genius. Nice try though 😹🫵🏼
