noticed you have your headset plugged into your microphone been trying to figure out how to fix this issue ive been having with hearing myself through my headset, did you encounter the same problem?

Just make sure you choose the correct output device! Since you plug the headset into the mic, then the default output should be the mic. If there's still no mic sound, double-click the default output device to check the properties to see if the mic monitoring level is turned up. If your mic doesn't have such a feature, then click to the properties of the default input device, click the listen tab and make sure you tick the checkbox of "Listen to this device"
