As a diehard Naruto fan who watched all 720Naruto(+200 something Boruto eps +14-ish Naruto movies) multiple times. Yea this is actually a pretty good summary that leaves a WHOLE lot of details blank so its almost like the perfect way to start watching Naruto.

They introduce new jutsus, new ways of using chakra that was never even thought about in the anime or manga. and since they are made for cinemas they have increddible animations.

I firmly believe that boruto wasn’t originally tied to Naruto but got shoehorned in as a sequel because it would sell better that way. Kishimoto had tried and failed to publish a new series before boruto. It didn’t sell.

I have the head cannon that Naruto was able to do the multi shadow clone jutsu, but unable to do the shadow clone because of his massive amounts of chakra. Before he tries to summon one clone, or do a simple low chakra transform. If Naruto has such an insane chakra pool, I imagine that until he learns to control it it pours out like a dam. Using such a small amount is impossible to focus for his skill level, but doing something that allows him to use this dam instead of control it, he has a higher output. He misfires when trying to under utilize his clones. And may be why we rarely see him only summon one clone the first couple episodes until he has better control like they learn in the forest
I mean the actual canonical answer is just the seal on his stomach stops him from being able to control his Chakra, but strong emotions allow him to use and pull more of his Chakra out, it's a good theory I'll give you that, but nah it's literally just because he gets a strong emotion and more Chakra bleeds through, honestly though yours makes more sense lol
You missed Itachi and Kisame arriving in the Leaf to kidnap kid naruto. It’s the first time since obito attacked that any akatsuki showed up, and it’s pivotal as to why sasuke ended up accepting the sound four’s offer.
Kakashi did not "set the bar super low because Naruto is Naruto". He used the same test he used with every group. Everyone always failed because they "followed the rules" and did not share their food with their teammates the next day, as instructed. Naruto's group passed because Sasuke decided to share some of his breakfast with Naruto and "break the rules" set forth by Kakashi. Kakashi then teleported to them and surprisingly said "you pass." The bell portion of the test had nothing to do with passing/failing. No pupil has ever gotten a bell from Kakashi. This was just an evaluation to see who will get breakfast the next day and who won't. Naruto ended up performing the worst, so he got no breakfast the next day. The real test was seeing if Naruto's teammates would share their food with him afterwards or not. This is because, as Kakashi explains, "those who break the rules are scum, but those who abandon their friends are worse than scum."

I would say Boruto as a mc did what he had to do. Look inferior to Naruto. The point of the Boruto series was to depict what would happen if the opposite of Naruto would happen. Great vid, but you missed a pivotal moment for sasuke emo character development. It was when Itachi and Kisame came first time to capture Naruto. Sasuke attacked Itachi realizing ant can't fight with a boot. That's why he was became even more angry and more emo deciding to join orochimaru in order to get more power to defeat Itachi
I like how a lot of the most important characters/events get little to no highlight, like Shikamaru never being mentioned, Uchiha massacre got like 1 sentence, and the power system wasn't even explained but then other, arguably less important characters/events, like Hiruzen and Danzo get whole sections just so the narrator can talk shit about them lol.
The only mistake is that Naruto didn't learn the Rasengan during the Chunin Exam break, in which he learned the summoning jutsu. He learned the Rasengan later, during the search for Tsunade.
Tobirama was Homage for 12 years. And the First Shinobi World War happened AFTER Hirashima died. The second War took place while Jiraya was a Jonin and the third took place while Minato was a Jonin and in charge of Kakashi's team.
Correction at 7:50, Hashirama wanted to gift the tailed beast to other nations to keep a balance, Tobirama did not want that, but he decided on a middle ground that would be to Sell the Beasts instead

I would say Boruto as a mc did what he had to do. Look inferior to Naruto. The point of the Boruto series was to depict what would happen if the opposite of Naruto would happen. Naruto was a kid with nothing but his own hard work and determination. Boruto had everything; a loving family which is also quite literally 2 strongest ppl on the world, mind of a genius and cool friends. But he lost all of it just like opposite of Naruto who kept earning things. Naruto build a world out of nothing for himself while Boruto's whole worl got ruined away and so now hes trying to get it back. So no Boruto is Naruto and Naruto is Boruto. The other side of a whole. Great vid, but you missed a pivotal moment for sasuke emo character development. It was when Itachi and Kisame came first time to capture Naruto. Sasuke attacked Itachi realizing ant can't fight with a boot. That's why he was became even more angry and more emo deciding to join orochimaru in order to get more power to defeat Itachi

I think I came out of this video more confused with more questions than before
I like how a lot of the most important characters/events get little to no highlight, like Shikamaru never being mentioned, Uchiha massacre got like 1 sentence, and the power system wasn't even explained but then other, arguably less important characters/events, like Hiruzen and Danzo get whole sections just so the narrator can talk shit about them lol.

The only mistake is that Naruto didn't learn the Rasengan during the Chunin Exam break, in which he learned the summoning jutsu. He learned the Rasengan later, during the search for Tsunade.
