So nice to meet you Carioca! You’re lucky to live in one of the most magical cities in the world! The atmosphere and the people are so energetic and warm!
Thanks for sharing your trip to Brazil. Our neighbor is Brazilian. They are visiting family there very soon. Your outfits looked fabulous and fit perfectly with the landscape.
Ooommmggg Não acredito hauahaua que legal! Espero que só tenham tido boas lembranças mesmo! Que massa que vocês vieram e que você ainda filmou pra mostrar pra todos! Voltem sempre! Brasil tem diversos lugares lindos e diferentes pra conhecer!
I am so glad you enjoyed your stay at my hometown Diana! You looked gorgeous in everything you wore in your trip. I will use your outfits as a model to my own outfits on my visiting trips there. And as a native would say:“Volte sempre” -Come Back soon. Take care!
You look so beautiful in every look you wore! It perfectly fit the ambience and you fit right in, even if overdressed. Just a quick note to all foreign tourists in Brazil. Most Brazilians don't appreciate the tours in the favelas because the favelas is the region of Brazilian cities where people suffer the most with poverty, injustice, and Brazilians have fought for decades to rid people from these conditions while tourists come with all the protection the locals there don't have and tour it as a cool place to check out, which helps perpetuate the existence of these favelas, which also makes the poor people really angry that tourists have turned their area into a whole "safari" trip. Brazilians will even joke when they see tourists touring the favelas and speak as if they are the tourist, saying "Oh, look! Poor people".
I think it’s really a very relative question. The guide himself was the local, his friends from Favelas are locals, they invited us to their “stores” so that we buy things and they can earn some money. And to be honest I had the impression that the curiosity was mutual)) locals are curious to watch tourists and tourists are curious to see life in favela from the inside. It’s a poor area indeed, but I heard from quite a few of my friends from Rio, that a lot of people choose to stay there, because of the community and the environment.
I’m a Brazilian. What are you doing in a favela? Doesn’t make any sense. Nobody that doesn’t live there does it. I think this was non sense. But you dress really well I got to say
This was a lovely video, with great vistas and outfits. However, seeing you “tour” the favela was a disappointment. The gratuitous comment about not getting shot at was insensitive and inappropriate. Pointing out the breathtaking view from a crime-ridden and impoverished favela before swishing back to the Copacabana Palace is borderline offensive.
Thank you for your comment! Rio is a city of contrasts and diversity, but you really need to step away from comparison and judgement to be able to notice the beauty in all of its sides. Visiting favelas and talking to people there and mostly important see how they enjoy life and appreciate their place was one of the most unforgettable experiences and I am very grateful for it and for local hospitality. As for the comment about rooftop it’s a fact and everyone who lives there is aware of it. I really wanted to show different sides of the city, pretty and less pretty, just like our life, so it is what it is.
I’m so happy you had a lovely trip! I lived in South America 🇵🇾 for 8 years and spent a lot of time in Brazil 🇧🇷! Thank you for taking us along! You looked fabulous! ❤
Thank you for sharing this amazing experience with us. I’m originally from “Brasil 🇧🇷”, I have been living in the US for the last 31 years but I still have family in Rio and know for sure that the food and the friendly people are truly captivating. I will gladly share with you other amazing opportunities and outstanding sites to visit. Just let me know.
@@dianagoss Any time. Please let me know when you are planning to visit Brasil 🇧🇷 again. I’ll give you tips. I could also assist with the language barrier , if any. I will be there this summer (our winter here in the US) and will gladly share the experience with you. See you around.
Thank you for this lovely video! My city looks gorgeous under sunny winter skies. Your outfits were elegant, easy and cool: perfect to face the "carioca" routine, traveling or working. Colors: white and navy blue match always perfectly. There's only one thing I could add: a light cardigan or a scarf, just in case of a sudden cold wind.
What an experience. So good to be able to visit locals and see how they live as well as attend the corporate events. What an amazing place and it’s the first time I’ve seen so many different views of Rio. Beautiful outfits and a fantastic blog. ❤
What a wonderful video. I thoroughly enjoyed the fashion and seeing Rio in this way. If you have the opportunity, please do videos from other locations, you may travel.

Диана, спасибо за экскурсию. Вы отлично выглядите. Ваши образы элегантны, лаконичны и вристократичны. Мне нравится. Ваш стиль.
Спасибо ☺️ очень приятно!
Do you ever style men, specifically men over 50. I have a man that needs some help. If not, can you recommend someone please.
I like all your clothes, but i wish i see something with COLORS
I know)) I am in my “achromatic phase” right now, but I will try to introduce more colour in my next outfits))
