We make this but we have BBQ beans made with just normal beans and a squirt of BBQ sauce, we also have gravy made with normal chicken gravy with lots of pepper added. I think there would be syns involved with the sides I mentioned but worth it all the same, to get that authentic kfc experience with much less of the fat and calories.

Hi David! Just wanted to give a quick heads up. The chicken wouldn't be 100% syn free as you need to count the couscous as bread crumbs. I learnt this recently at session when the topic of scotch eggs came up.

Thanks Alison - the nice thing is you can make it with loads of different spices in the couscous depending on what you fancy - chilli, garlic, lemon, curry, bbq powder and jerk flavoring are all good options

Hi did you had the extra egg or not to the couscous?

If you've used 2 Oxo cubes you definitely DON'T want Salt. Stock cubes are laden, stuffed full of Sodium putting in Lo-Salt's shutting the stable door. Like making a 'diet' meal and eating 3 times too much of it. Nothing in life is Free! We should all remember that.

Sorry for the slow reply John I have been away in Sri Lanka - it normally takes around 45 mins to cook on 200 (fan assisted)
