Because of Barbara’s videos on Castor oil I decided to try it on a very dark mole-like growth on my back, instead of going to a doctor and getting any surgery. After daily applications for 3 months the mole has gone from 1 1/2 in diameter to 3/4 of an inch and the uncovered skin as it is receding looks normal. The color of it went from black to flesh toned. I’ve had it for at least 20 years and it’s only gotten bigger. This is very promising.

I put castor oil pack on my tummy and sleep with it.
I walk around the house all day with it.
Not on hair, like purebcastor oil is thick, to apply it you need to mix it with base oil, like almond, apricot etc, and even can add fermented grapefruit water or a tonic from the shop. You will mix that all together into a proper tonic mixture that you can apply by spraying it or with the hand mainly on your skull, not along all hair. Than you can keep it, but soon the hair will request washing as the look will be oily anyway. With the more watery mixture like with proteins and vit E, some herbal water etc. quite ok to spray all over your hair. If a one appliessbbthick castor oil all ove rthe head and goes to bad the one will get up with the nest like mess, not as in the video (too extreme case), easy to fix with warm shower and slow shampoo massaging into the hair mess. Then some softening balm and that's fixed. Never saw any similar effect after castor oil even when applied whole and thick and weared for several days....

The paper you refer to mentions a combination of coconut oil and castor oil. In addition the paper also sites that matting is a rare occurrence. The photos used in the video are of 2 different people (of which one is from the paper itself). The paper doesn't site the amount of cases to warrant clinical or statistical significance. The paper is a case study nothing more than reported observations without data.

Castor oil is really thick and creates friction in hair if you massage after putting it that's why it is always preferred to use a much lighter oil(coconut oil is best) mixed with castor oil (so that it do not create friction) and make them both warm by double boiler method , keep it for an hour or two them wash it off ... scalp massage should not be done after using castor oil ......We Indians have been using castor oil for centuries and faced no problem, instead we got better results 😒

@lilrexy6088 applied it at night on a clean scalp. washed it with Dr bronners soap. it took about 3 months to start showing real change, but my hair did grow back fully. Also started eating dates. This herbalist told me it was good for hair growth.

I applied a few drops of castor oil to my hair on first day I bought and I was amazed because I used to have a heavy hair fall after giving birth but now thanks to castor oil only less hair fall now. Happy with the result 🙂
Hair felting is from significant build up and neglect. It can happen even when using regular shampoo and exercising poor hygiene.
Bullshit caster oil actually saved me from hell, I had never brushed my hair since my mom left for a trip cause i got lazy. And trust me when I say it was bad, I got massive hair-fall and got really stressed. After using caster oil for a couple weeks 30mins before I take a head bath. It basically saved me.

Like with everything, some people can have a allergic reaction to some things. Therefore it’s best to do a spot check and observe your body’s reaction. If all is well, then using it should be ok.

In Jamaica we steam our hair with castor oil then shampoo this out. We also use it as a leave-in oil for our hair & scalp. It can resolve hair issues. It grows the hair nice, soft, shinny and thick.
We use it on the skin like a lotion. It’s good at causing pimples and spots to disappear. Applied on boils- this too can disappear after a few days of application and any pus inside naturally start drain out of the boil by just the castor oil application on the area, then it heal up. My personal experience and others I have seen.
Castor oil packs applied to the tummy/abdomen can dissolve cyst, fibroids, regulate period etc. I have experienced this.
Applied in or around the belly button/navel can be soothing and cause bloating to disappear. Again my experience.
For the breast castor oil packs applied dissolve lumps etc.

Um, Castor oil has thickened my hair, helped regrow my eyebrows ( when nothing else was helping), cleared the trash from my eyes ( when put on my lids at night- in the morning, gunk is visible and I can actually see better), helped ease pains in my body, unblocked my fallopian tubes ( when used as a castor oil pack and activated with heat), and has helped my husband in various ways. Although known, this is an extremely rare condition with only 7 cases reported worldwide. With this case specifically the young woman used both coconut and castor oil resulting in electrostatic attraction of contiguous hair fibers. The higher viscosity and sticky consistency of the castor oil would have attracted the hair fibers. When the hair was washed with warm water, the hair fibers aligned in parallel, which glued and sealed the hair into one single bunch. Highly viscous castor oil in long hair in a warm liquid medium (water) has followed the spontaneous felting process in the human hair. The single bunch of hair fibers are exposed to friction by the oscillatory movement done while washing the hair, resulted in multiple twists and turns ending up in bird's nest hair.
