SHOULD I BUILD A MINI JET BOAT???

So a friend of mine owns a jet boat built from jet streams, jet kit he has built this completely on his own all the way from Welding to installing everything to making it run the way it does. This really makes me want to build one myself and I have a jet ski that I can pull the motor from. Should I do it?!?!
