- I'm up with another solo show from 2008. It's from Fairbanks, AK, USA 29th May. The quality is very good and is an audience recording. There's not much to say about the show -- just an ordinary solo show from Elton with all the great songs played only on the piano. Great versions of the songs.

I went to one of Elton’s solo shows in Denver back in 2011. He absolutely blew my mind. Just incredible!

Is there any chance to get sheet music on these solo versions? Usually you can only find a lot simplified ones... This is just awesome!

his voice deepened after 2005 he didnt turn into a baritone after throat surgery. he's worked his arse off his entire life he play till he's dead
rather I think he became a baritone from the years 93' and 94'

It's the first mistake like that I've seen in all Elton shows, and I've seen lots of them… don't know what the hell happened there… O__O well, he's human, after all hehe
He also messed up in candle in the wind at the red piano
I love Elton John. He's a great man and a great inspiration. His talent is unmeasurable as his humility. There are parts where it sounds like Elton isn't pronouncing words right but as if he's been to the Dentist but is it because he's showing age or is it the recording quality?
It's the actual sound of his voice, though I feel it has improved quite a bit within the last couple years, with better clarity.
He's hit and miss.

It’s also because certain constants are a lot harder on the voice than others. A lot of singers do this. The reason you hear Elton do it is because he works the mic so close.
It’s him “cheating” some of the words so he can hit the notes he wants. Every singer does it, it’s very common. He just has do it a bit more than others because of what register his voice sits in nowadays. He’s still killing it, it’s all love 💫❤️
