I've listened to other breeders talking about some angels are perfect parents with theirxx first spawn and all the rest of the spawns to. And then with some they would have to pull the eggs out and raise the fry themselves. Could the tendency to predate on their own fry be due to generics? Kind of like a nature vs nurture?
@cathyhendrix7552 yeah it was their first spawn ever. I find if they feel threatened or the males going after them or being aggressive the females hurry up and eat them.

That is cool. So did you have any problems with the parents eating their fry? Or eggs?
The first pair no, 2nd pair took about 10 spawns to not eat. 3rd pair just ate them last night.

Yeah, eventually they get the hang of it luckily they spawn every week!
