    Could i leave them where they are on the tank? I have a lid, heater but lots of condensation of droplets would that hurt the clutch? Very cool video!!😊

    Any reason you dont have shrimp in your tanks? Theres no fear of them eating the eggs or live fry, right?

    • @fivestarbettas8710
      @fivestarbettas8710 21 день тому

      They shouldn't. But when it comes to breeding, I prefer just to have 1 species per tank. Also, a lot of meds are toxic to shrimp. So I really don't like to mix shrimp with my fish in case I have to treat fish with meds.

    How challenging would breeding TIGER BARBS be in this design of yours ? i would only want to breed tiger barbs.

    • @fivestarbettas8710
      @fivestarbettas8710 26 днів тому

      So, breeding tiger barbs is not to hard. To get the genetics that I have found, hidden in the platinum could be more challenging or not. I can't say for sure yet. I bought more from a different source to spawn to see if the same genetics are in play across the board or just a freak occurrence.

    • @fivestarbettas8710

      That happens to me, too. The problem is that the eggs were never fertile to begin with if they turned white. You could hatch in methane blue if they are fertile and just developing fungus or throw the eggs in with some shrimp.good luck!

      @@fivestarbettas8710 Oh no. I'm so sorry. Now was this #3 first spawn? I've listened to other breeders talking about some angels are perfect parents with theirxx first spawn and all the rest of the spawns to. And then with some they would have to pull the eggs out and raise the fry themselves. Could the tendency to predate on their own fry be due to generics? Kind of like a nature vs nurture?

    • @fivestarbettas8710
      @fivestarbettas8710 Рік тому
