My grandpa said that the biggest mistake in Croatian history was when we left Austria (Austria-Hungary). Every empire has a finite life and cannot last forever. There are events like wars, historical trends like nationalism and sometimes simple errors like Austria invading Serbia which cause empires to fail.

It is mostly in standard German, some pronouncations sound slightly Austrian to me, but it is barely noticeable.
