I've watched a few of your roll videos back to back in the last few minutes. I love that you only make enough filling for each roll vs having us make much more than needed. I hate wasting anything. Of course one could always make another roll but if you're someone like me who has to limit her time due to chronic pain that's not always a guarantee. Saving this recipe to my playlist as well. Thanks Rachel... 🤗
Another wonderful recipe from The Stay At Home Chef. My husband loved this! I love that this recipe is well written, easy to follow and how Rachel does a great job teaching it to us. You can tell allot of thoughtful preparation goes into all these recipes. Rachel and her crew look at all the whats, ifs and hows before they present their recipes. TY!
These turned out perfect first try and I've made them multiple times since. EVERYONE needs to try this recipe. I honestly prefer them over cinnamon rolls, it's that good.
I just made these using all munk fruit. My granddaughter is diabetic so she can't have so much sugar and she will want more than one. I wish could show a picture. I used lots of zest, they rose so high, they are amazing!!!!! Thank you!!!! 💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓 I turned my munk fruit into powdered sugar by putting it in the blender till it was powder.
This recipe is really easy to make. I like to keep my rolls in the oven a little longer, so it is a little browner on the top. My husband absolutely loved them. He likes these orange rolls more than traditional cinnamon rolls. I have made these orange rolls several times and everyone loves them. Thanks for this easy to follow recipe!
My family and I all love love love your cinnamon rolls !!! So now I get to try these orange rolls. Oh my goodness, these look so good!!! Thanks for sharing!! God bless you and your channel!!!
These rolls are fantastic - my hubby hasn't been very hungry all week due to being under the weather & he has eaten 4 of them in under 5 minutes! This recipe is keeper, thanks so much for the upload
I saw your video last nite, dreamed of these all nite and this morning I made them and was not disappointed... They were so easy to make and delicious that I had to give most of them to my neighbor and friend so we wouldn't eat them all... My hubby was a little disappointed though, he thought that something this good should have a better name, haha, he threw out decadent and awesome and there were a few yumms thrown in too... Excellent... love your videos... :)
I made once and was perfect but now every time I make them they are grainy from the filling. Is there a way to fix it so I doesn’t do that? Everyone loves when I make them!! So delicious.
Oh my, oh my! My 12 year old son and I just made these. They just turned awesome! What a wonderful experience! Thank you for making it do easy to follow! You've got a new subscriber right here! 😋
OH NO! I accidentally added a full stick of butter in the dough recipe instead of only 3 TBL! I was wondering why I kept having to add more and more flour to the mixing bowl! I went to let it rise, and, sure enough, it did! So I continued on and completed the recipe. Phew! It still came out fantastic! Extremely light and fluffy! Thank you for a great recipe! (even if I did goof it up a little!)
If preparing your orange rolls the evening beforehand, can they stay in the fridge longer than 24 hours? As an example, I made the rolls and placed them in the fridge late Thursday night. Would they keep in the fridge until Saturday morning, or should they be baked Friday?
Hi there! I’m afraid I did something wrong. I have to be gluten free and used a 1 to 1 flour substitute as suggested on the website, but my first proofed dough definitely didn’t double in size. My rolls didn’t fill up the 13 x 9 pan😔 I’m hoping they turn out! Any suggestions on how to fix that the next time?
I just made mine last night and they were amazing! However, there was crystallized sugar on top and bottom of the rolls. Idk why that happened :( how can I prevent that from happening again?
Okay Rachel. I have a question and I hope you answer. I just suggested to another viewer to make these and your pumpkin rolls. I told her I couldn't give a review on these because my dough was on its 1st rise but that I could give one on the pumpkin rolls. Those came out so good. Now on to these and my questions. Is there any reason as to why the sugar/butter/zest filling would not only boil over but crystallize during the baking process? My dough came out beautifully and I made sure to cream those 3 ingredients. It did seem like there was a lot of filling but I noticed the same thing with the pumpkin filling. Just as I did with the pumpkin filling I put all of this filling in but something went wrong. I did try one before they cooled down just to see if I could feel the sugar granules in my mouth. I couldn't but I don't know if it was due to the fact that the cream cheese frosting melted it or what. Please help me figure this out. Orange is one of my favorite flavors. I made this recipe using 2 different frostings just like I did with the pumpkin rolls. One with cream cheese the other with the traditional glaze but I did put some orange extract and juice into it. That pan of rolls just doesn't look right. I can clearly see the butter and sugar that crystallized on top of the rolls. Please give me some feedback. Thanks!
The best answer to this is a secret that people just don't realize about recipe development. The orange rolls, the cinnamon rolls, and the pumpkin rolls....they are all the same base recipe. The only parts that changed were the flavor profiles. The results should end up being all equal quality rolls, just in different flavors. Does that help?
Why no cinnamon? The orange ones that I love that I buy in the store definitely have cinnamon in the layer that you spread on top of the dough before you roll it up.
Wow, as good as a cupcake, this would be great to serve with a nice glazed ham, whipped pots, and green beans, for a Christmas or easter holiday.
This has become a holiday tradition for my family every year! I add ground cloves to the filling and some walnuts. Thank you so much for this!

How long do you mix the dough in the stand mixer?

Can you add cinnamon to this as an added layer of flavor?

Yum!!!
Whay brand of orange juice do u use? Or do u use fresh orangr juice?
You just need the juice from an orange. Doesn't matter what brand it is or if you juice it yourself :)
Can I make 6 instead? Same ingredients just bigger rolls?? We are only 2. Pls respond today. Thank you, Linda
My mom made these once. I would pay for these in a restaurant

Thank you.
i got cavities watching her dump tons of sugar into each step... but it looks so good
You should see a dentist. That’s not normal.
@@Thestayathomechef that was funny!!

These are just Orange Rolls not Orange Cinnamon Rolls. You could easily add cinnamon if you'd like though. It's just a different twist.
