They came out great after I forgot to let them rise a second time. So I tried to follow the steps once again and they came out amazing. Thank you for the video
@@annskitchencreations Lovely! Had to freeze some and give some to a neighbor's! Thank you for a great recipe. Tried to buy your cookbook but link didn't work. Can you sell one on Ebay???
Yes. It will work fine. I used it for many years before I started using bread flour. This is a soft dough that doesn't need very much kneading. My digital cookbook is being run right now and I'll have it ready to go online by next week. I will contact you when it is ready. Ann
These look good. The video was really shaky, though. It was so shaky in some spots that watching it was making me a little bit nauseous. I appreciate you sharing your recipe with us, though, and I appreciate the time and effort you put into making this video. 👍
FYI that was my first video and it was on a cell phone camera ! I hope my later ones were better. Thanks for the comment!! You need to make these. They are award winning!
@@annskitchencreations it was actually fairly well shot for a first video, if you take out the shaking. I've seen videos from people who have been making videos for years that are shaky. It does look like a very good recipe, and I appreciate you sharing it. 😊
You didn't say the amount of yeast or milk as you made these rolls. Lovely recipe but your ingredients and instructions are all over the place. Please list your instructions as they are needed and the amounts. Good recipe, though.
Uhmm! Why didn’t I catch that!?? Recipe should be in the description below the video! 1 1/2 T yeast in about 1/3 cup warm water with a teaspoon of sugar to activate it! 1 1/2 cups of milk scalded (just barely before boiling) This recipe is so forgiving. So add more OJ if you like or more zest. Always use fresh OJ.
Thank you all for watching! Please like, subscribe and leave me a comment! I'd love to answer any questions you have!
Gonna make them soon, regards from Mexico.
Thanks, David, for watching- Let me know how the recipe works out for you!
Looks so good!!
Thank you 😋
Easy explanation for the scalded milk…heating the milk breaks down proteins in the milk that can make the yeast rise slower.
I have to have one
This is probably my signature video that I started with and these rolls are to die for and melt in your mouth good! Try them!
My whole family loves these!!!!
Thanks, Cassie!

They are! I love my videographer and editor!

Sugar is left out of dough directions (1/3 cup). My dough is rising now... can't wait!! Thank you!
Oh no! I have corrected the recipe now! So Sorry!
Way better than those frozen dough rolls from the grocery store
For sure...take a little more time to make but so worth it!
this comment cracks me up
Can you use regular flour? Where can I order a cookbook?

How much is a cube of butter?
1/2 cup of butter or 1/4 lb. Sorry I should have clarified this.

If you do not have an orange, can you use grapefruit essential oil or orange extract?
I would say no. What makes this special is the fresh juice and zest!
Why not butter the bowl? My mom always buttered the bowl that any yeast dough would rest in.
Probably because I dip the rolls in butter when I put them on the pan to rise. Just a little oil keeps the dough soft while rising

Where is the actual written recipe?
Under the video, there is a description after the words, "SHOW MORE". Recipe is listed there.
60.00 a pan? I hope it was a charity auction.
It was! Fundraiser for the Boy Scouts, back in the day!
Camera person to shaky..
That was our very first video on a cell phone!
