My son played this beautiful song on his guitar all the time, when I heard it on the radio recently, I googled it and realised how cryptic it was for him. He took his life just over 2 years ago, I cry every time I listen to it on his headphones on Sunday nights. I miss him so much.
I'm listening now for my brother also. Is it cryptic. Or did we just not listen. so sad. so open book though. Was off in my own place though in my head.
His voice feels like home. So deep and it's like returning to something that you love. When I'm listening to him singing I feel like everything is alright, everything is going to be okay..his voice is like a warm, sweet, melting honey!
You just perfectly brought a visual to a feeling in your heart..That's beautiful, we're able to create an image for others to understand us a little more as a whole..There's nothing more important than sharing those experiences with others..That's how we become human again..It's what separates us from animals..I love life a little more and more when I see things like this..Thank you so much for sharing..It could very well have been the difference in someone's life or death.

One of my friends committed suicide 2 years ago. This song gave me the strength to deal with it. I still cry when I hear it, but it has a warm place in my heart. I'll never forget you.
Man, I am glad that I did not succeeded with that. Bro, we should just appreciate all the things and people. Today I smile with a tear in my eye about some things in the past. It's sad, that it's over, but I feel very happy, that I was able to experience these times. Bless you!
@@matteomarasco8655 It's one of the few songs that can express the desire to make a loved one return... I'm glad you could also find some consolation in this song, it's rough losing a friend and the sorrow really leaves scars, no matter how much time passes.

Things that I really enjoy on this clip , that Eddie shows his strong skills as guitar player , excellent clean fingerstyle, and a more warm tone of his voice on a calm performance, plus these second voices from the drummer which reminds that drumers not only play . So great clip!

I am with you all that has lost a parent/sibling/significant other and find solice in this amazing piece of music........Because of this song, people from all races, genders and classes come together in the act of sharing our grief. Isnt it beautiful or what huh?! We must though, remind ourselves of the living....the ones our deceased beloved worked so hard to care for, in order to leave the world in a better place than they left it. We live in a world today so divided, disconnected, self destructive and cruel. Spread the love that your beloved gave you...... Let optemism and faith that those before us taught us to guide you today and tomorrow. You grieve just like your neighbour grieves. You hurt just as your neighbour hurts We love just as our neighbour does. We are all one. As I grieve for my dad, I send a loving hug to you as you grieve your own.
I just love the ending with the F-chord, because it leaves the song opened in some way, like he just wanted to outline that the story continues with that.
Eddie Vedder carries the torch for the past greats , Neil Young and Bob Dylan . Simple soulful and so poetic ! His music will stand the test of time unlike most of the rubbish of today !
+John Holmes Dude, you're either very young or don't know a thing about music, and I'm not going to waste my time trying to educate you. One interesting fact though.. The "jam" in Pearl Jam's name was decided on by the band after attending a Neil Young concert in which he extended his songs as improvisations of 15-20 minutes in length.
Nothing in the world made me wanna be older but Eddie and pearl jam. I wish i could have had much more time appreciating all their songs!! Trying to keep up ❤️❤️❤️
My grandma just passed away 5 months ago. When she lost her consciousness, the last thing that she saw was me. Just smiling at her. We didn't know at that moment but, that day she went to the otherside. I just smiled because her eyes were looking for someone, or something... I don't know. I miss u, 'abuela', as we say in Argentina. You really gave everything.
I barely listen to music in English, but I saw a video of Miley Cyrus covering this song and daaamn, I loved it and love the original, beautiful song!!

Hi guys. I really feel for those who have been touched by death or suicide and this song reminds them. I have tried to kill myself a few times. I have an eight year old daughter. I hope I don’t try again. I remember coming across a post that said ‘it’s ok if all you do today is just breathe.’ Pearl Jam is like coming home for me. I wouldn’t have stayed alive and sane without music.
Ive been listening to PJ all my life im 45.. when life gets tome as it does to all of us.. I always come back to this song.. I had my first love at the age of 18 and she broke my heart.. then at 20 i found another i absolutly and soul heartly connected with or at least I thought.. at 22 year old I berried her and our unborn child through to suicide.. PND was the reason.. Eddie heals my soul. thank you.
When I listen to Eddie and Pearl Jam I always think of my good friend Bjørn Thore who tragically died of cancer. He was the world's biggest fan and a legendary good man. RIP
I first heard this song five years 2 months ago when my brother was losing the battle with Cancer I listened to it daily when in the car on my way to be with Brother And I made sure I told him how I felt about the bond we as brothers shared and the impact he made on anyone he ever met 10/08/2023 will be 5 years since he left us 😢 I play the song at least once a week Thank you Eddy 🙏🏻
I can't explain what this song stirs in me. Some sort of wishfulness and grief over past loss, and yet some gratitude that I still have with me those who care. Stay with me, just breathe.
I really can’t help it, but there are two songs in this world that just make me cry as soon as I hear them, this is one of them. Eddie you are forever a babe xx
Still remember how I felt when I finally was able to play this song on my guitar... I was so fucking happy!!! Time flies man... I don’t know why I’m a nostalgic person now, nothing is like it used to be anymore, like it was supposed to be...
I remember when I sang this song with you, aunty Alena. It was your favorite, I'll always remember. It was too early for you to leave but guess the cancer was too strong and you just wanted to rest. I held you in my arms as you asked, I'll meet you on the other side one day, just wait for me.
There`s so much in this world that make me bleed............ In this times purer than ever................ Eddie, you`re a god of music - just thank you
Touching and beautiful song. Makes me feeling like crying and I don't now for who and why. It's just life that comes out and moves with all its human essence out of this song with its warm acoustic guitar's sound, talking of some hidden losses to me.
Poetry. Reality of loving with all of your mind. body and soul is portrayed in this beautiful melody and beautiful words. One of the best love songs I have ever heard.

I LOVE this song so much. Eddie Vedder has the most beautiful baritone voice and this inimitable resonance in it., i've ever ever heared. I appriciate ur songs so much, Mr. Eddie Vedder. My lifedream was, to meet u one time in my life. Now i am 50 years old, I spent all of my youth with Pearl Jam. And it still accompanies and moves me today. Thank u so much, Eddie Vedder.
"hold me til' i die, see you on the other side...." probably the most powerful lyric ive heard in my entire life...

+Dj Khaled what a heart breaking story dj khaled, i appreciate that
No matter what Eddie songs, whether its a rocking song or a ballad, you feel every word that comes out of his mouth
if you are in love and you listen to this song...tears tears tears. it's not a song...it's pure emotion
One of my friends committed suicide 2 years ago. This song gave me the strength to deal with it.
I still cry when I hear it, but it has a warm place in my heart.
I'll never forget you.
It means so many different things to different people
Man, I am glad that I did not succeeded with that. Bro, we should just appreciate all the things and people. Today I smile with a tear in my eye about some things in the past. It's sad, that it's over, but I feel very happy, that I was able to experience these times. Bless you!
♥️
@@matteomarasco8655 It's one of the few songs that can express the desire to make a loved one return... I'm glad you could also find some consolation in this song, it's rough losing a friend and the sorrow really leaves scars, no matter how much time passes.
in m own thoughts i can report to that somehow
Most sincere and honest band of all times!!!

"Stay with me...
You're all I see...,
Did I say that I need you?
Did I say that I want you?
Oh, if I didn't, I'm a fool you see
No one knows this more than me
As I come clean"
Every time listen Mr.Vedder Voice,it's always butterfly in my stomach and heart 🔥🔥❤️❤️.
Things that I really enjoy on this clip , that Eddie shows his strong skills as guitar player , excellent clean fingerstyle, and a more warm tone of his voice on a calm performance, plus these second voices from the drummer which reminds that drumers not only play . So great clip!
francisco acosta that drummer is Matt Cameron. He was Soundgardens drummer for years!
lord have mercy, one of the best songs of all time.
Oh my god there is NOTHING I can say to describe how amazing this song is.....
Lyrics:
Yes, I understand that every life must end, uh-huh
As we sit alone
I know someday we must go, uh-huh
Yeah, I'm a lucky man
To count on both hands the ones I love
Some folks just have one, yeah
Others, they've got none
…
Stay with me
Let's just breathe
…
Practiced all my sins
Never gonna let me win, uh-huh
Under everything, just another human being, uh-huh
I don't wanna hurt
There's so much in this world to make me bleed
…
Stay with me
You're all I see
…
Did I say that I need you? Oh!
Did I say that I want you?
Oh, if I didn't I'm a fool you see
No one knows this more than me
As I come clean
…
I wonder every day
As I look upon your face, uh-huh
Everything you gave
And nothing you would save, oh, no
Nothing you would take
Everything you gave
…
Did I say that I need you?
Oh, did I say that I want you?
Oh, if I didn't I'm a fool you see
No one knows this more than me
As I come clean, ah
…
Nothing you would take
Everything you gave
Hold me til I die
Meet you on the other side
anytime I feel sad, angry, depressed... everytime I know that this song will always heal my pain...
Me too. It allows me to feel and heal.
Love and healing to all🙏💞
Thanks you ❤
I am with you all that has lost a parent/sibling/significant other and find solice in this amazing piece of music........Because of this song, people from all races, genders and classes come together in the act of sharing our grief.
You hurt just as your neighbour hurts
We love just as our neighbour does. We are all one.
As I grieve for my dad, I send a loving hug to you as you grieve your own.
One of the most achingly beautiful love songs ever created, thank you Mr. Vedder and PJ.
Eddie Vedder is one of the greatest composers and singers that music has ever known.
+Raffaele Iodice true that dude
Yes that's thru
Yes, he, chris cornell, kurt cobain and Layne Staley... but in my opinion the best songwriter ever was kurt...
My fave
He is the better
Such a beautiful heartfelt song. The slowly layering up instrumentation complements Eddie's vocals perfectly

Every time I miss my dad I come here to watch this video! It brings peace to my heart! Thanks Eddie ♥️
Hello, how are you doing? It’s nice meeting you here. Thanks for your love and support🌺you have yourself a wonderful day ahead 🌺🤘🏻🌺❤️
Every time I hear this song I can imagine a peaceful place, full of three's, animals and peace comes to my body... thank u Vedder and PJ....
I just love the ending with the F-chord, because it leaves the song opened in some way, like he just wanted to outline that the story continues with that.
Eddie's voice is like having an angel next to you....closing your eyes..dreaming...
Eddie Vedder carries the torch for the past greats , Neil Young and Bob Dylan . Simple soulful and so poetic ! His music will stand the test of time unlike most of the rubbish of today !
+Anthony Fox really, neal young? That hack couldn't hold the urinal that Eddy pisses in.
I've often thought this. Good to hear someone who holds him as highly
+John Holmes Dude, you're either very young or don't know a thing about music, and I'm not going to waste my time trying to educate you. One interesting fact though.. The "jam" in Pearl Jam's name was decided on by the band after attending a Neil Young concert in which he extended his songs as improvisations of 15-20 minutes in length.
couldnt agree more
Bob Dylan is not in the past, he is still HERE WITH US!
His songs are so evocative and inspirational. I love this man and what he does! God bless you Eddie Vedder.
Thank you Pearl jam for all those years.
Not many people feel it like Eddie does, truly a gem.
Just Breathe Everyone ! Love you all❤
Nothing in the world made me wanna be older but Eddie and pearl jam. I wish i could have had much more time appreciating all their songs!! Trying to keep up ❤️❤️❤️
"Oh I´m a lucky man, to count on both hands the ones I love"
Everyone should have!
I don't know how Eddie Vedder sings this without weeping. This song is a gut punch in the most painfully beautiful way
Hello, how are you doing? It’s nice meeting you here. Thanks for your love and support🌺you have yourself a wonderful day ahead 🌺🌺❤️🤘🏻
The vulnerability in his voice makes this song so beautiful! Awesome
I've lost one beloved too. I know how it is.
Lo siento... she surely crossed the bridge with thou hand in hand, this forever by that last heart-to-heart 💘 look.
💛
Fuerzas Gonzalo! Un abrazo, capo.
Tears in my eyes...
The depth of his voice and lyrics together create a resonance ❤️

Hello, how are you doing? It’s nice meeting you here. Thanks for your love and support🌺you have yourself a wonderful day ahead 🌺🌺❤️🤘🏻
Hello...I hope you are fine...and haven"t tried anymore!....your life is very important!...❤
RIP
Pearl Jam saved my life many times! Really. Love this band too much ❤️
This is just possibly my favourite song ever. Love you Eddie...so talented!!
I first heard this song five years 2 months ago when my brother was losing the battle with Cancer
I listened to it daily when in the car on my way to be with Brother
And I made sure I told him how I felt about the bond we as brothers shared and the impact he made on anyone he ever met
10/08/2023 will be 5 years since he left us 😢
I play the song at least once a week
Thank you Eddy 🙏🏻
Beautiful song! Brings tears in my eyes thinking of friends who have died...
You will not find much better than this. Simple. Enjoy.
Sooooo true my friend.
thank you man . thank you eddie vedder. you saved my life.
Simply one of the most beautiful song i 've ever heard in my life; Eddie, Mike, Jeff, Stone, Matt : I love you, your music is a miracle.
This was a song that my best friend really enjoyed, now that he is gone, this song takes another amazing different level. Thank you for everything man
I can't explain what this song stirs in me. Some sort of wishfulness and grief over past loss, and yet some gratitude that I still have with me those who care. Stay with me, just breathe.
When I’m down or in need to just breathe, this helps everytime, love each other, there’s to much hate here on earth atm ❤️
I really can’t help it, but there are two songs in this world that just make me cry as soon as I hear them, this is one of them. Eddie you are forever a babe xx

The fingerpicking skills while singing of this man is incredible!
Still remember how I felt when I finally was able to play this song on my guitar... I was so fucking happy!!! Time flies man... I don’t know why I’m a nostalgic person now, nothing is like it used to be anymore, like it was supposed to be...
Such a nice song for the season finale of The Blacklist.
Same here. Always in tears at the last part. Somehow this song reminds me of my late father and all the beautiful memories with him.
Poetry. Reality of loving with all of your mind. body and soul is portrayed in this beautiful melody and beautiful words. One of the best love songs I have ever heard.
Hello beautiful,my heart tells me you’re looking so beautiful more than the morning sunshine
Yes I understand
that every life must end
as we sit alone
I know someday we must go

Did I say that I need you
did I say that I want you
Oh if I didn't I'm a fool, you see
No one knows this more than me
'Cause I come clean
I wonder every day
as I look upon your face
Everything you gave
and nothing you would take
Nothing you would take
everything you gave
Did I say that I need you
did I say that I want you
Oh if I didn't I'm a fool, you see

Nada melhor que uma canção do Pearl Jam para acalmar a mente nessa época, muito linda essa música cadê os amantes do Rock da um like
I LOVE this song so much. Thank u so much, Eddie Vedder.
abrazo querida desconocida
