If you have a solid supplier for batteries there isn't really any difference between aftermarket and original. Apple does not sell its parts, and the percentage of new "Apple Original" batteries on the market is so marginally small due to legal concerns that the chances of you obtaining one are extremely slim, let alone getting a solid supply. The "Fake" apple batteries are usually a lot worse than batteries branded under another company.

This is a complete lie. Printing a logo on it and sourcing custom parts from a manufacturer by the millions is completely different. You just don't know enough about logistics and tech to get that. The manufactures apple has access to are much much higher grade than the things you can order off the internet. The do extensive testing and inspections on their manufacturers you do none of that. Yes you can get a reasonable product. But no your product is probably not as good, it's probably had corners cut and will function mostly as well possibly better but if apple took that mindset they'd have thousands of lawsuits from faulty products. 1/10000 isn't good enough when you are selling at this scale

They do actually exist. I get them OEM at my repair shop, and we pass them through Apple’s post repair diagnostics software tool. There are absolutely knock offs out there, but they “do” exist: you just don’t have access to them.
Very interesting fact, some suppliers that make non genuine parts and have the logo, cover it up with tape or removeable paint to reveal a permanent logo. I think it's a copyright lawsuit prevention thing and may even be for something about customs.

Just repaired my i7+ with new battery and screen for about $30. Screen doesn't look as good as the stock IPS panel but the battery is the average certified li-ion and it's definitely worth the money! No one should have to spend $240 for these, plus you get to revive phones for which servicing was discontinued. Right to repair all the way!

the only oem batteries you can get are from apple or ubreakifix for replacements but a lot of the oem that are online are mostly re-wrapped and are trash.

It depends No battery manufacturer can produce good and tested to long last batteries for iphones Because they can get copyright infringement claims for it You're only on a good luck if the material used is good otherwise a 10$ and 50$ battery could perform the same . Also to know true quality (a long process) You can charge the batteries to 100% then check the voltages , then use them upto 0% and check the voltages again The battery with better voltage after complete drain is supposed to last longer and better while high loads

I don't do phone repair but I dealt with a lot of knock off products and often getting a whole different brand that doesn't try to copy anyone leads to a better product because the company making knockoffs aren't based on quality products, they know they'll sell a lot just because of the logo so no need to make an actually good product
I use whatever’s practical. More screws and ill use an electronic screw driver. Tiny screws and I’ll use Qianlis precision screw driver. Bigger screws and ill use ifixit

99.99% are not actual genuine OEM they may be very close to OEM in quality but not actual OEM. eBay listings are lying to get you to buy.
You can wipe off any of those logos. They're screenprinted. Just use acetone, methanol, isopropanol, etc.
