True. I remember aim 9L first came out on the AH1Z Viper and was super underwhelming. Still kinda mid on the A10(unless shooting at a target w/o flares). But the F16 really lobs em.

Yeah sure. When ever the missile at doing 180 really easily, it makes it too good. If you don’t have flares and you manage to dodge it, it’s just gonna turn into you again. Only other missile I have seen that can do that is one of the missiles from the F-14, don’t remember which one but it was kinda random, and likely just a glitch.
it was probably not supposed to do a 180 off of his seeker boresight, it'll probable still be capable to do 180's like it should but if flared from the front itll be trashed easily by one flare, also the normal 180° will mostly happen more if the enemy is further away, giving it room so it can keep the target inside of the missile 45° boresight, but it wont increase much since will be easier to the missile to keep the enemy within seeker visuals while using thrust vectoring, although that viggen was flying VERY SLOW, if ur fast and it does a 180° like that, probably wont have energy to catch u anyway
The platform sucks... the acceleration is bad... and very low flare resistance... It's op in sim but worst in rb... It should came out in mig 29,141 and su27 in future but... What about sim...
