Hello Baron. Merry Christmas. I hope you enjoyed it.
First, when battling the Yamato in the game, if you see the black line in the bottom of the ship, it is the layer that protects the ship from getting any water inside. The design in Ships at War has the line going more deeper into the ship, leaving the other parts to flood. Second, if you hold R over any damaged part, it will repair it. It does cost steam pressure in order to repair though. Even though it seems bad to use because you use steam power in order to move, it benefits greatly. You are able to keep your ship in good condition which will let you continue the fight longer without dieing. I fine this very helpful when I play and I hope you and others do as well. I don't think the Ju-88s would be good for the Graf Zeppelin, since they're tactical bombers, but the Ju-87 did carry torpedos.
The Ju 88 A-17 version could carry 2 torpedoes and was used as a torpedo bomber. Sure, it's a bit big, but the americans also managed to launch 16 B25 bombers from an aircraft carrier, so I could imagine that this could be done.

The Graf was to carry Fieseler Fi 167s, highly advanced biplanes, as torpedo bombers. About a dozen were built, all used from land bases.
Graf zeppelin battle where Baron almost lost was the best battle in this game i ever saw. It truly showed of the beauty that this gamehas to show.

Oh yea those explosions from the bf-109s is very accurate because those 20mm cannons they have had both AP rounds and HE round mixed in which could shred lightly armored targets

I have made boats in the game and depending on the size of the gun it can sometimes piece some of the armour!

Yeah I have a notorious air zone but the thing is it was removed later in the World War II app for drag it wasn’t really much practical use for it so yeah

if im the armor designer for battleships then the torpedo protection will be a thin 10 milimeter anti torpedo wall with a 4 meter gap between the actual armor that is also filled with water. that would have been such a effective design
Taking out the command tower you wouldn’t disable it an example is HMS Hood when it erupted in half after fighting KMS Bismarck it managed to fire off one final salvo even though there was no command tower
I like how this game is 2D however I wish this game had depth perspective (like poly bridge)

So ship classifications destroyers are the smallest then it goes to lake cruisers than heavy cruisers than battle cruisers then battleships then aircraft carriers there was another type of aircraft carrier couple white carrier

I wish that there were different ammuniation for the bf-109s because it looks like they have the same ammo and the American planes have higher rate of fire and are obliberating the bf-109s.

Wait the Yorktown had 6in guns? I thought the Yorktown class carriers were Yorktown, hornet and enterprise and none had 6in.
The Yorktown Hornet and Wasp were rebuilt and renamed into new Essex class carriers so there is 2 Yorktowns

Hey baron the yamato's deck is weak if you hit deck and you hit the magazine
Fun fact The guns of the ign yamato was almost as weak as a destroyer the only fight she ever had with another ship was the hms lurdon destroyer ripping a hole through the yamatos hull
If i remember correctly, and i very much do the yamato class had 18 inch primary batteries. The iowa class, the largest and most powerful class of allied battleships, only had 16 inch batteries.
That being said, destroyers can come equipped with gun batteries of equal caliber to battleships, it's just that they can only fit a small number of such large guns, whilst battleships can have multiple primary batteries and secondary batteries, along with some AA defence (alrhough typically bringing AA to bear is a destroyers task in a fleet)
Where did you get the “HMS Lurdon” story from? Unless it’s a typo, I can’t find any ship named that with the story of it ripping a hole through Yamato.
