There's a lot of important nerves, veins, and arteries around the shoulder. Gunshots to the shoulder are *much* more serious wounds than most movies make them out to be.
"Hasta la vista, baby." Fun Fact: Linda Hamilton's twin sister, Leslie Hamilton Gearren, was used as a double in scenes involving two "Sarah Connors" (for example, when the T-1000 was imitating her). Identical twins Don Stanton and Dan Stanton played the hospital security guard and the T-1000. No Camera Tricks Fact: Robert Patrick undertook a rigorous running regime and practiced breathing only through his nose, in order to appear to be a cyborg that could run at high speeds without showing fatigue. He had trained so hard that he was able to catch up to Edward Furlong on his dirt bike with ease. Stripper Night Fact: A female passer-by wandered onto the biker bar set thinking it was real, despite walking past all the location trucks, cameras, and lights. Seeing Arnold Schwarzenegger standing in the bar dressed only in boxer shorts, she finally asked what was going on, only for Schwarzenegger to reply that it was male stripper night. Nuclear Nightmare Fact: Special effects guru Stan Winston and his crew studied hours of nuclear test footage in order to make Sarah Connor's "nuclear nightmare" scene look as realistic as possible. A miniature Los Angeles was made to simulate the scene. Some of the materials used in the miniature that mimicked all the destroyed masonry were Matzos crackers and Shredded Wheat. After each take, it would take on average two days to set the model up to shoot again. In late 1991, members of several US federal nuclear testing labs unofficially declared it "the most accurate depiction of a nuclear blast ever created" for a fictional movie. The special effects team members have stated several times that no scene they've worked on since has received an equivalent amount of praise or emotional feedback from viewers.
Lots of great facts on this thread, so I'm gonna go ahead an add another fun one. Thats Dedication: Xander Berkeley, the actor that portrayed John's foster father, Todd Voight had to practice sword swallowing for one scene in particular. When the foster mother (Jenette Goldstein) is talking to John and the Terminator on the phone, she stabs Todd off screen. When they hang up, we get the slow pan over to see Todd impaled against the cupboard. 3 prosthetics were created for the scene so they could get the shot. After the blade is removed, and Todd slumps to the ground, the actor had to remain in that position for 5 hours so they could finish the rest of the scene.
Damn, had no idea about the stripper. That's hilarious. And the nuclear nightmare scene fuckin' scarred me when I was a kid. LOL couldn't get those images out of my head for a LONG time man. XD
16:43 American girls reacting: “Oh! Oh my God! OH MY GOD!!” Girl from the same country as Vlad Tepes reacting: “That’s a nice scene. That’s what you get for drinking milk out of the carton box!”
For what I've seen, I believe most (if not all) of the women from the eastern Europe and Russia are like that, beautiful as princesses and tough as gladiators. My type of women if you ask.
In the novelization of Terminator 2, John went back to retrieve the arm in the gears. Not shown but there is a deleted scene in T1 after Sarah is taken away, the camera pans up showing the sign of the factory, Cyberdyne Systems. That's the only reason how the company got access the original parts. If you ignore the other movies, the story ends here perfectly and humanity is saved.
It's not older movies audio problem! It is your source or settings. Audio normalization is one of the possible problems. If your settings are not the issue it is your source that has encoded the audio with a poor setting(s). Has nothing to do with the age of the movie.
54:18 That's liquid nitrogen. (You could see the label on the truck's tank in earlier shots, like at 53:49.) It has a boiling point of -196 degrees Celsius. It's even colder than dry ice, which is a solid that sublimates at -78 degrees Celsius.
@@deepermind4884 Not quite. -196° C is the temperature at which liquid and gas nitrogen interconvert, so that's the boiling point. The freezing point would be between liquid and _solid_ nitrogen, which is even lower (-210° C).
Fun fact: when the T-1000 is running after John who's on his motor bike, actor Robert Patrick actually caught up with him. He was a track and field athlete in school and could sprint really fast! Very good and perceptive reaction as always. Love your accent. If you want to see a brilloiant suspence spy movie, watch "Ronin" with Robert DeNiro and Jean Reno.
The actor who played the slimey orderly was so creeped out about licking Linda's face that he had trouble making the scene convincing. They had to shoot several takes while Ms. Hamilton had to lie there getting her face licked over and over. Funniest line in your whole reaction: "Parkour??" 😄👍
Yeah. He and Linda were actually really good friends. He felt so bad for doing that to her and kept apologizing. Probably what I would have done, lol...
the strangest part of the movie for me! but sarah did her job and hid the paper clip! Good lass. What a fucking movie! There isnt 1 film in the last 30 yrs that has been close! Robocop Total Recall t1 t2 demolition man predator etc! The best era of Sci-fi films ever made! It was a joy to watch them on VHS and i still own them to this day! No Regrets
Nice job. Never seen anyone else catch the fact he left another arm. The theatrical release didn't have such a definitive ending. So it could have been used as the justification for a sequel.
"How fast is this guy running." Fast enough to catch up with the motorbike in some takes. Robert Patrick had a background in track and field. And when Sarah says "Estas Aqui?" she's saying "Are you here?" rather than "Estoy aqui" which would mean "I am here."
I think Bisscute didn`t catch the different intonation and for that reason she thought that Sarah meant to say "Estoy aquí" ("I am here"") and not "Estás aquí" ("You are here") when she actually said "¿Estás aquí?". That usually confuses to non-Spanish speakers that have different form for interrogative sentences not relying solely on intonation.
That is the problem with old old movies, you can't keep away from spoilers for that long usually. NEVER in the intro's of these movies did they say they sent 2 machines, that was the purpose of the big secret and reveal. They sent a protector to intercept is all your told and you find out through watching the movie that they are both machines. A great tell tale as to whether someone know's the movie plot before its reacted to.
They had to reshoot the T1000 vs. dirt bike scene over and over. The guy playing the T1000 trained so hard to look fast and not breathe heavy. He kept catching the dirt bike. True story!
Biss in previous reaction: "Im not a fan of violence" Man is impaled through the mouth with a metal arm "That's what you get for drinking milk out of the carton" :D
I remember seen this movie and my parents making me and my brothers close the eyes when the Terminator cut his arm and showed as machine arm. Nice detail for that time to make the kids go away, giving time to parents to think if they can or not look that scene.
A big theme in this movie is how much humans can act like machines, and machines can become more like humans. Because of Sarah Connor's trauma in the first film, she has compensated by neglecting her own emotions, and trying to be so strong that she forgets a piece of her own humanity, compassion, and the value of human life. At first, she is scolding her son for saving her from the mental institution, and putting himself in danger, and she shows him little love. She automatically judges Miles Dyson for creating Skynet, even though he did what he did with the best of intentions (some of the most terrible atrocities happen with the best of intentions). Sarah literally becomes just as systematic as a Terminator trying to alter the future by killing an innocent man, but she remembers her humanity by seeing that Miles Dyson is just a normal man with a family and children, and he means well despite being partly responsible for the deaths of billions. After Sarah has a breakdown, she looks at John for the first time in years, and tells him she loves him while breaking down in tears. She also realizes that the Terminator (Arnold) would never hurt John, and would die to protect him. Sarah starts as a machine in the first half of the film, and rediscovers her own humanity, and she realizes that there is no black and white between good and bad in the world. Morality has a lot of grey area in between good and evil. In reality, it's actually innovation, and humanities trust in technology that caused the end of civilization in the Terminator timeline. It cannot be directly attributed to any one person being at fault. In the third Terminator film (you should watch it), the inevitability of Judgement Day is further expanded upon.
I think that's the thing that makes you go nani nani. My favorite line of the reaction. Of the movie I think it's when the terminator says "let me try mine" or "trust me". Great reaction. 👍
So many twins used in this movie including Linda Hamiltons identical twin sister who u see in the factory scene where there are two of them, so just alot of working out. They look phenomenal in this movie her transformation is amazing.
Arcades are something that newer generations will never understand. There was a time before pc's/ playstations and xboxes when you spent quarters to play electronic games. I remember dropping one dollar per hour to play a snes at the local vhs video rental shop. Granted I packed a fresh bowl beforehand
if you're going to watch Terminator 3 then you'll have to believe in the multiverse theory because the ending of T2 where Sarah is an old grandma enjoying life on a normal earth conflicts with what happens in T3 where judgement day actually happens. Also I have never heard anyone else continue to call Arnie "Bob" during the movie, so I found that funny 😊
Bisscute, Topless car = convertible, or drop top, or rag top in English. Arnold's shotgun is a Winchester model 1887 lever action. It was chosen for the movie because it holds 5 shots in the tube, and one shot in the chamber, and Arnold can operate it with one hand, and drive the motorcycle at the same time. This model shotgun is still being manufactured.
@BissFlix did you know that Robert Patrick (the actor who play the bad terminator) trained himself so well that in the scene where he chases John who rides the bike on foot, Robert had to moderate his speed because running at full speed he was able to grab the boy?
The very first time I saw this movie was when it was in theaters with my buddy in the summer of 1991when I was only 14 years old. And I saw it after I saw the first Terminator. The very first time that I ever saw the first Terminator was when it came out on video when I was only 8 years old.
Your understanding of the opening narration was absolutely correct (one terminator for her and one for John) but there was some withholding of info in order for the twist to work better. Sarah says there were two terminators sent back and indeed refer to 1 in the first moveie and 1 in the second but she never mentions a third terminator. Ironically, a lot of people misunderstood Sarah to mean 2 terminators in this movie, so they suspected the cop terminator from the start. They were right but for the wrong reason.
Yeah, the word "protector" is used. Cameron's wording throughout the narration is clever and kinda reminds me of advertising sales. All the information is there (like in your face there!l) but the audience wants to hear something else. I've yet to see anybody comprehend that narration accurately the first time. I wanna scream, "Listen closely! OR, don't, it will make sense to you in an hour or so."
I think the extended cut is the best one. It includes a few of the best and most story-pertinent additional scenes, but also keeps the open-ended ending intact instead of the silly future playground scene from the director's cut.
Item: seeing this film when I was living in London, Ontario, Canada, where a new shopping mall, the Galleria, had just opened a year before, the audience broke into laughter when it was mentioned.
Most media players have an option in the audio settings like "night mode" where it boosts the quiet parts, and limits the sudden loud parts. It's designed so you can watch TV when others are sleeping, and keep the volume predictable. It may not be the mix itself that's making the vocals quiet. If it was mixed for 5:1 and you're listening through 7:1 it could be that the vocals are pushed through the wrong speakers. My only solution to that would be to try switching different sound modes in your media player.
I have that on my computer and its such a huge help. I have pretty bad hearing loss in my let ear so I have to have the volume up. The equalization keeps me from having to constantly adjust the volume. Captions are also a must, especially if they have accents. I can't hear shit.
50:59 "This is that gas that makes, kinda like, cry and it difficult to breathe in, no? I don't know how it's called." What you're thinking of is called "tear gas" (where "tear" rhymes with "sheer" and "fear," not with "pair" or "share").
Plastic guns used to be very common in the US. When a few accidental shootings occurred, changes were made. The guns dropped in sales, those that still were in existence were usually made in orange plastic. Too many kids got shot because kids were playing with plastic guns.
Love this movie. I knew this would be a fun reaction when Arnold goes into the biker bar and Bisscute said "I think he's shopping right now." Hilarious Linda Hamilton's performance is amazing and her transformation from sweet humble waitress in T1 to a total badass in T2 is very impressive. Killing Miles Dyson seems to makes sense at first, but in reality he's not a villain. Like Bisscute said he didn't have malicious intent. He's just a computer genius doing his job and raising a family. Sarah almost lost her humanity when she became her own version of a Terminator trying to kill Miles. I find Miles death pretty sad. He was actually a good person even giving the men that shot him time to escape the explosion.
An oracle had declared that any man who could unravel its elaborate knots was destined to become ruler of all of Asia.[2] Alexander the Great wanted to untie the knot but struggled to do so. He then reasoned that it would make no difference how the knot was loosed, so he drew his sword and sliced it in half with a single stroke. like steve rodgers and the flag.
I think that chemical that froze the T-1000 was liquid nitrogen. It's wild (and dangerous) stuff. I saw the stuff demonstrated in grade 9 science. It was crazy. The teacher put a flower into a container of the stuff and after a few minutes, he extracts it, lays it on the counter, and smashed it with a small hammer. That organic specimen shattered like it was glass.
Hello! I think first you might want to try some kind of equalizer setting (in the video player audio setting), where the middle frequencies (speech) are emphasized and the low (or high) frequencies are reduced in comparison.
36:55 “Estas” is “you are” in a statement and “are you” in a question. “Estoy” is “I am” in a statement and “am I” in a question. She was asking “Are you here, Enrique?”, so estas is the correct form. There are also other forms of the word that depend of tense and stuff like that.
The 2 movies I want to see someone react to the most is "Being John Malcovich" & "Adaptation". NOBODY does these , but I bet once somebody does, everybody will. They're both Fantastic movies! ❤❤❤
Fun fact. The security guard at the psych ward acted with his twin to do the side by side t-1000. The same was done at the end with sarah. Linda's twin sister Leslie acted along side her to do the side by sides.
most people don't notice, at least not until repeated watching, that in the scene where they're working on Arnold's head the camera pans around behind them while they're working, in a single shot... but the camera doesn't show in the mirror. While shooting, there actually was no mirror. Linda Hamilton's twin, Leslie Hamilton (Freas/Gaerren) was playing the 'Sarah' that was the mirror 'reflection' working on the real Arnold's head, while Linda worked on a fake Arnold head, which we only see in that shot from behind. A great shot.
Hi Bisscute, oh wow! That's fantastic you've seen this! I can't wait to watch your reaction to this and Terminator 1 back2back :) I'm a huge fan of your channels and am subscribed to both :)
The single shot weapon that Arnold used is called the M79 “Thumper”. It’s a single-shot breechloading grenade launcher nicknamed for the sound it makes when fired. When the T-1000 started malfunctioning near the end, blending with with whatever it touched, the extreme cold and physical damage it had to recover from had corrupted some of its software. This led to the machine being partially unable to control some of its functions. Nitrogen gas condenses to liquid around -190C, which is almost half way towards absolute zero, when all atomic motion stops. Imagine strolling through that! Glad you watched the extended version, it was a more complete story IMO. Cheers!
So yes this ending makes it clear that Judgement Day did not happen showcasing D.C in 2028 just a year before the Future War depicted in T1 and T2 where we see John Connor as the leader. Pretty much it closed the door on any future films and is pretty confusing for people who watch the future films like T3 and Terminator Salvation. While the theatrical release and directors cut featured a more unsure ending set just after the film where Sarah says "The unknown future rolls toward us. I face it for the first time with a sense of hope, because if a machine, a Terminator, can learn the value of human life, maybe we can too" pretty much setting up the possibility that Judgment Day could still happen. This ending follows into Terminator 3 and Terminator Salvation so it's the canonical ending of this timeline. The ending you saw can be seen as the "good" timeline where Judgement Day never happened and John Connor grew up alongside his mother getting married and raising a family. Skynet messing with the past leaves us with who knows how many possible futures and timelines so it fits the lore of the series that they're could be endless amounts of possible futures for these characters. I personally welcome both endings but I much prefer the original ending myself as this one feels very last minute, feeling very unfinished. Also the original works better with the next movies but if you're one of those people who aren't too into the sequels the good ending can be a nice closing to these two movies. As a fan of the amazing The Sarah Connor Chronicles set after T2 the theatrical ending works much better for me. *Happy Timeline:* Terminator 1 - 1984 Terminator 2 - 1995 T2 Alternate Ending - 2028 *Movie Timeline:* Terminator 1 - 1984 Terminator 2 - 1995 Terminator 3 Terminator Salvation *Genisys Timeline:* Terminator Genisys *Dark Fate Timeline:* Terminator 1 - 1984 Terminator 2 - 1995 Terminator: Dark Fate So pretty much if you do plan on watching Terminator 3 and Salvation just forget about that alternate ending, think of it as a *possible future* that happened in another timeline. I personally say watch the other ones as you may be surprised could enjoy them or may be mixed on them who's to say but yourself. The timelines give you an idea of what movies are connected so you could follow the movie timeline with T3 and Salvation or jump into Genisy or Dark Fate.
God DAMN! That's comprehensive, well done!! The only thing I'm thinking of is how horrifying Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor) looks like in that "old woman" prosthetics lol
@@natmanprime4295 Yeah it does look very lower budget from the skyline of D.C to even the writing and voice line with Michael Jackson turning 40. Just seems very odd compared to the quality of the 99% of the film.
The "Happy Timeline" is impossible. If Judgment Day doesn't happen, no one will send Kyle Reese back in time and John would never be born. Judgment Day has to happen for John to exist.
@@Eternal82Soul not impossible, there are many futures, and those guys come from one of them. In fact that's the only way that time travel could conceivably happen, where you can never go back to the same future you left.
@@natmanprime4295 If that's the case, then the whole thing is pointless. Why send anyone back in time at all if whether or not they succeed with their mission won't change anything for the people in the present? If it worked the way that you are suggesting, then sending someone through time would straight up erase their existence from this universe. They won't be there anymore and there would be no recording of them ever being in the past that they were sent to. Because, as you said, they can never go back to the same future. But that in return means that the future where that person is from, has a different past than the one that this person is in now. A past that didn't include that person and their action. So, in my mind, if time travel was possible, it could only work in one way: The past can't be changed because every attempt to change it led to the exact thing that actually happened. Everything else would lead to a time paradox.
Leaving the arm in the machinery is not that big of a deal. The gear pretty much mangled it up into something not resembling an arm. Plus there was no real technology in it (no chips, etc.), just metal and stuff.
This is version with alternative ending. The one that was put to the movie was more open than this. Or to be more precise, there three versions of the movie, theater cut and extended cut both with the original open ending and director's cut with this alternative ending.
The novelization to this movie was great, and adds a couple details that don't come across on film 1) when Sarah run out of shells and the T1000 wagged its finger at her, she was about to charge it and take it into the foundry with her 2) when the T1000 was melting in the foundry, its shapeshifting was an attempt to go through its library of forms to find something that could escape IMO this is amove that's actually better in the theatrical version. Especially the actual ending to the film. Just ending on the dark highway into the future, reflecting on the value of human life.
In the book they also explained that when the T1000 searches Connor's room back at the foster parents he can get all the data just by touching every surface. And the glitches which happen in the foundry are caused by the extreme cold of the liquid nitrogen that damaged his shape shifting ability.
* deadpan monotone * "This does not help our mission"... lol , that should have been one added to the many iconic lines that were installed into pop culture references. That's just a hilarious response to someone freaking out or being hysterical.
TERMINATOR 2 won 2 oscars and is the best sequel in movie history you saw the director' cut which is longer. in the version made for the cinema it is shorter and there is no happy ending. which opened the doors to the others movies in the terminator saga and a TV series
Terminator Arnie tells John to "Get down" and even shields him from the other Terminator (NOT future John)'s gunfire. Bisscute : "Who is the protector??" Hahah, oh Bisscute... sweet sweet Bisscute... here's a hint : The police uniform is a red herring! 🙂 I can tell you're gonan enjoy this one, cos the revelations are gonan surprise you.
Not enough people have seen the show The Sarah Connor Chronicles, to warrant a reaction apparently, but I always recommend it nonetheless, it's a great show in this universe. Lena Headey does a great job in the role and a lot of the supporting characters are also great. And it's a quick watch since they cancelled it after two seasons.
That show extends the originality and imagination of the first 2 in a way none of the sequels do. Even with only 2 seasons, it's well worth it. Lena Headey as Sarah nails it. And Summer Glau as the protector terminator(with her own agenda) is creepily effective.
Came here to say this! I have been been doing my best to spread the word throughout the reactor-verse to get someone to take a good look at this show! I give it a rewatch every few years and just love it. It's a 2008 show, but takes place just 2 years after Terminator 2 with the original ending. I'd instantly join the Patreon on someone reacting to it.
little john connor breaking the containers is akin to Alexander The Great solving the enigma of the Gordian Knot. displaying his smarts and quick problem solving attributes.
Hey Bisscute, your "parkour" joke, about the Semi-Cabover driving off of the bridge and your humor throughout the whole reaction had me rolling in laughter for most of the movie. I think even Arnold would be impressed. I know I am. Thanks, I so enjoyed this!
That's wonderful that you included that scene of switching the chip to learning mode. I don't really like most of the other things they added to the extended edition of this movie, and I don't like the different ending, but I love that scene. It's a fascinating discussion between John and Sarah where she is so paranoid that she can't trust it at all, but John realizes the value and need for him, and convinces his mom that he will have to make important strategic decisions like this at some point.
If you want to watch another film with the guy that plays John, probably his most famous role other than this one is in American History X. Which is a brilliant film which a lot of reactors watch.
I had never seen the extended version until now. The extra footage wasn't all that great, IMO. It didn't really add anything to the story. The happy ending is OK, but I prefer the theatrical version's ending, which creates a strong sense of hope along with uncertainty.
Some interesting notes: 1. Shooting an attacker in the leg won't necessarily stop them. 2. Shooting someone in the leg may still be fatal. 3. Imagine if the T-1000 took some shifting samples from the zoo
Okay, the first weapon Arnold used at Cyberdyne Headquarters is called a mini-gun. It has six barrels and runs on an electric motor. The Weapon you thought was a mini-rocket launcher is called an M-79 grenade launcher. All sorts of ammunition is made for the M-79, including high explosive, High explosive incendiary, white phosphorous, and tear gas. It works similarly to a single-shot break action shotgun. It fires 40 millimeter grenade rounds.

No Regrets
Or did he just say that so he can lick her face over and over and continue to be creepy and have everyone think it?😅
Nice job. Never seen anyone else catch the fact he left another arm. The theatrical release didn't have such a definitive ending. So it could have been used as the justification for a sequel.
@@GeorgeTropicana The arm isn't that big of a threat. Might lead to advances in robotics, but it's the AI that makes it dangerous.
"That's what you get for drinking milk out of the carton!" LOL. There oughtta be a punishment for those people.
A surprising number of people get this wrong in the beginning.
The gun is a grenade launcher. It fires grenades that have both a contact fuse and a time delay fuse. And the gas is called Tear Gas.
In that scene with T1000 and girls - Nikki Cox looks good that day, but now - too much botox, she is gross now.
if you're going to watch Terminator 3 then you'll have to believe in the multiverse theory because the ending of T2 where Sarah is an old grandma enjoying life on a normal earth conflicts with what happens in T3 where judgement day actually happens. Also I have never heard anyone else continue to call Arnie "Bob" during the movie, so I found that funny 😊
28:12 Children are definitely better suited to operate crew-loaded mounted weapons than any other type, save maybe the club.
Your best line, "That's what you get for drinking milk out of the box"
hahaha, glad you liked that
Your understanding of the opening narration was absolutely correct (one terminator for her and one for John) but there was some withholding of info in order for the twist to work better.
The director's cut has a lot of excellent additional scenes, but I prefer the more open-ended ending of the theatrical cut.
I think the extended cut is the best one. It includes a few of the best and most story-pertinent additional scenes, but also keeps the open-ended ending intact instead of the silly future playground scene from the director's cut.
@@tbirdparis Ah, didn't know there was a third option. Sounds perfect.
That's why I like the DVD double disc special edition they use the added scenes but kept the open ending
it doesnt have any additional scenes, directors is the same as the theater version
@@flexydex8754 the theatrical version didn't have the smile scene, the surgery scene, the dream scene with Kyle or the scene with Miles and his 2 kids
I agree. The channels are obviously downmixed incorrectly for her headphones.
I have that on my computer and its such a huge help. I have pretty bad hearing loss in my let ear so I have to have the volume up. The equalization keeps me from having to constantly adjust the volume. Captions are also a must, especially if they have accents. I can't hear shit.
I mentioned that when she complained during T1, but I don't think she reads comments.
@@tzuyd Too many comments to read, I am thinking.
@@tzuyd I def read comments haha
The shotgun Schwarzenegger used in the movie, is a Remington 1887. It holds 5 rounds in the magazine, plus one in the chamber.
Another fun fact: When Linda Hamilton hits Mr. Slimey in the face with the stick, its not special effects. She actually did it.
50:59 "This is that gas that makes, kinda like, cry and it difficult to breathe in, no? I don't know how it's called." What you're thinking of is called "tear gas" (where "tear" rhymes with "sheer" and "fear," not with "pair" or "share").
Stuff SUCKS mightily. I can fight through pepper spray exposure, but the very first whif of CS leaves me fetal and puking.
Plastic guns used to be very common in the US. When a few accidental shootings occurred, changes were made. The guns dropped in sales, those that still were in existence were usually made in orange plastic. Too many kids got shot because kids were playing with plastic guns.
'That's what you get for drinking milk out of the cardboard box!' Bisscute taking no prisoners today. xD
Love this movie. I knew this would be a fun reaction when Arnold goes into the biker bar and Bisscute said
"I think he's shopping right now." Hilarious
Linda Hamilton's performance is amazing and her transformation from sweet humble waitress in T1 to a total badass in T2 is very impressive.
Yeah agreed. It would like killing Ernest Rutherford before he split the atom.
I always thought the way the cops entered and immediately shot Dyson was super wrong. They didn't know if he was an innocent hostage or what 🤷
"its a usb - stick" - nope. This was filmed around 1991, there was absolutely not even an idea of an usb-stick
That's how charming Bisscute is, kept calling Terminator......Bob.
Actually lava lamps were most popular in the 60's and 70's. They came back as retro years later.
Sad part, is that skynet is actually very close to happening in real life. Give us a century or less and we will be there.
"Aww this kid (Edward Furlong) has beautiful green eyes, I wonder how he looks now?"
...yeah, about that.
Now Furlong is fat and older man, good that he is clean and sober right now.
"Poor Bob." LOL You're hilarious. Nice call back.
arnold's terminator trying to smile is the funniest thing ever!!!!!!!!
Actually, the term "Hasta la vista, Baby", was used in a song in 1987, called "Looking For a New Love", by Jody Wately.
Yes, Biz, It would make sense that you LOVE the IMPALING scenes.
Cameron makes the best sequels! And uses actors over and over. Linda, Arnold, Reese, Lance, the Mexican chica, bill Paxton and others.
Hello! I think first you might want to try some kind of equalizer setting (in the video player audio setting), where the middle frequencies (speech) are emphasized and the low (or high) frequencies are reduced in comparison.
Just found your channel, love your reactions! 😘😘
Malcovich Malcovich Malcovich.
Agreed.
Fun fact. The security guard at the psych ward acted with his twin to do the side by side t-1000. The same was done at the end with sarah. Linda's twin sister Leslie acted along side her to do the side by sides.
Rip for her twin
most people don't notice, at least not until repeated watching, that in the scene where they're working on Arnold's head the camera pans around behind them while they're working, in a single shot...
but the camera doesn't show in the mirror.
I really love your reaction to this movie.
Cheers!
Great Reaction Biss !! You make Watching Movies Fun !!!
*Happy Timeline:*

*Dark Fate Timeline:*

So pretty much if you do plan on watching Terminator 3 and Salvation just forget about that alternate ending, think of it as a *possible future* that happened in another timeline.
The novelization to this movie was great, and adds a couple details that don't come across on film
1) when Sarah run out of shells and the T1000 wagged its finger at her, she was about to charge it and take it into the foundry with her
2) when the T1000 was melting in the foundry, its shapeshifting was an attempt to go through its library of forms to find something that could escape
IMO this is amove that's actually better in the theatrical version.
Its called a convertible, when the top goes down
TERMINATOR 2 won 2 oscars and is the best sequel in movie history
you saw the director' cut which is longer. in the version made for the cinema it is shorter and there is no happy ending.

One thing I never thought of, as you say Arnold's arm is still in the machine at the steelworks so they haven't destroyed absolutely everything 😅
"That's what you get for drinking mill out of the carton"!

Terminator Arnie tells John to "Get down" and even shields him from the other Terminator (NOT future John)'s gunfire.

I can tell you're gonan enjoy this one, cos the revelations are gonan surprise you.
Liquid Router is a reference to drain cleaner (which is generally poisonous). It is generally made of Copper Sulfate, hence the color.
Really underrated show. Much better than any movies after this.
Shame it has only 2 seasons.
You know what, I'm gonna check that out. Thank you.

Hey Bisscute, your "parkour" joke, about the Semi-Cabover driving off of the bridge and your humor throughout the whole reaction had me rolling in laughter for most of the movie. I think even Arnold would be impressed. I know I am. Thanks, I so enjoyed this!
Ive seen this movie countless times and i have never thought about the arm that he left in the gear that he ripped off...very good call girl. 😮😮😮
just a small info, John's step mother is Pvt. Vasques from Aliens
"topless cars" - convertibles (assuming the top could be put on either as a hard top or a mechanical method).
If you want to watch another film with the guy that plays John, probably his most famous role other than this one is in American History X. Which is a brilliant film which a lot of reactors watch.
If I remember correctly Sarah's (Linda Hamilton) trainer was Arnie. I could be wrong, but it sounds cool even then.
I had never seen the extended version until now. The extra footage wasn't all that great, IMO. It didn't really add anything to the story.
The happy ending is OK, but I prefer the theatrical version's ending, which creates a strong sense of hope along with uncertainty.
Some interesting notes:
1. Shooting an attacker in the leg won't necessarily stop them.
2. Shooting someone in the leg may still be fatal.
3. Imagine if the T-1000 took some shifting samples from the zoo
'I can not self terminate, you must lower me into ze steel'. Is the greatest movie line ever.
Fun fact: the FX in the burning Sarah skeleton scene were made by Adam Jones of the band TOOL.
One of many favorite movies, and of all reactors out there, you one of my top favorites. Look forward to the next reaction.
Btw, "estoy aqui" means "I'm here". But Sarah was actually asking "are you here?" to her old friend, which is why she says "estas aqui?"
T3 has a good, Greek Tragedy aspect and some good humor.
