I am very sleep deprived due to an 8 month old baby who hates sleep and also due to having to squeeze my cardio and conditioning in early in the morning before she wakes up
Aye I just wanted to say congratulations on raising your child this far, I gotta say the first year was the least sleep I’ve ever gotten in my life and I deployed to Afghanistan in the Marines haha. Keep up your hard work you pump me up Mr Plotter!
supplements for boxing performance. can a 17 year old boxer take supplements, if so what would you recommend he use, he trains two days a week, he is preparing
BCAAS has actually been shown not to be good for even training, but EAA works, its what protein breaks down to in the body. But if you get enough protein it shouldnt be a problem, only if you dont like the taste of protein or thinks it gets you too full i would think to recommend it
I am making my own super cocktail for boxing/kickboxing. 1.Creatine 2.Taurine 3.Q10 4. L carnitine 5. Beta alanine 6. Glutamine 7. Citrulline malate. 5 grams of everything with 40 grams of protein and 40 grams of carbs. And ofcourse a good multi vit, vit d and fish oils. Any toughts on this cocktail? Feedback is always welcome...
i made a research and it says creatine will increase lean muscle mass, how am i supposed to lose the lean muscle mass before the weigh-in in order to make the weight?
Creatine and whey is in foods. Basically eat a lot of meat for protein and creatine and dairy products for the protein/whey/casein Also i would recommend creatine to everyone since its really cheap, works and is naturally in stuff already(although in smaller quantities)
If you are after extra protein in your diet for cheap as a teenager I recommend looking into skyr yoghurt it’s fat free if you get the plain unflavoured variety and contains 50g of protein per tub
Isolate for pre-workout because it digests faster, concentrate throughout the day is fine if you don't have sensitivity to dairy. Concentrate or casein are better than isolate if it's a shake before bedtime because they digest and absorb slower than isolate, keeping your muscle protein synthesis up longer as you're sleeping/fasting.

Oral l-carnitine can increase TMAO production, this is countered by garlic. There are garlic extract pills and such that can counter this.
@@fiontathomas1574 Thank you! Will get a bottle to counter this.
Did you take this before competition? If so how did it affect your performance
No L-Arginin?

No mention of BCAA’s?
