@@sashingopaul3111 Makes plenty of sense actually. Fast parts are usually played at constant speed and easy to maintain. Melodic parts require you to play on time and a lot of shredders always tend to speed up
Obviously people don't actually know how hard it is to play a guitar and play it with speed like Syn. Of course you can't be perfect with it nobody is, and if you think you can go on stage and do it better then him be my guest.

Matt Howard I don't think so, because syn has a tipical sound, and all the solos from avenged have his caracteristics ( not including warmness on the soul ). Dancing Dead sounds like was made his the seymour duncan invader, only synyster uses them. I do not think that zacky did the solo
Their best songs are the underrated ones, which are masterpieces that are only underrated because they never have the light of a live performance shone on them. Like Natural Born Killer, an almost unnoticed song that is absolutely insane. Same with Tonight the World Dies, and Simulation. None have been played live, and are beautiful. Diamonds in the Rough is barely even sold, which should be a crime against music 😂

@@SefniAsheforr he wrote riffs in songs like trapped under ice, disposable heroes, master, he’s got solos like fade to black, one, master, four horseman, battery, just a few classic ones. Kirks a sloppy player but the greatest guitar players have also been sloppy as fuck. Hendrix, EVH, Ritchie Blackmore, page, and Iommi, Randy Rhodes. Just to name a few
Saw these guys in London in 2006 and they still are just as awesome!

I love the part in Critical Acclaim where Syn play the melodic part and Shadows sing... It should be on the record aswell, 'cause it is really good. It's not a solo though, but its good you included it :)

correction: buried alive intro is played in drop d too. so yeah syn plays them all in drop d so he doesnt need to carry a standard tuning guitar around I guess. but for example the acoustic part in so far away and seize the day is in standard.
